Save the Six Bells Peterstone
The community of Peterstone are looking to develop the Six Bells in Peterstone into a community hub, a local pub, a cafe, a shop selling local produce and an information centre celebrating the Gwent levels. The Local Community are holding fund raising events to raise money to make this community project a reality.
A campaign has started to save the Six Bells ๐ the former public house in Peterstone.
Events are being organised to raise funds as work on this project goes on behind the scenes.

Emergency services called to fire above restaurant in city centre, the incident closed part of Commercial Street in Newport on Thursday morning.
A spokesperson from Gwent Police said: "We received a report of a fire in Commercial Street Newport at around 7am on Thursday March 16.
Officers attended, along with personnel from South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, to support with public safety."
Emergency services attended a fire which was broke out in Newport city centre this morning.
Gwent Police and fire services attended Commercial Street, Newport after reports of a fire at about 7am on Thursday, March 16.
South Wales Fire Brigade reported from the scene and said flames were coming from the building above the Mama T restaurant, near Gilligan's Island.
Commercial Street was closed for 2 hours between Kingsway junction and Gilligan's Island and some diversions are in place.
It was reported that adjoining properties were evacuate at 7am this morning for safety reasons.
One person was reported hospitalised and no other people were injured, our thoughts are with the people living in the flats who were evacuated and traumatised by the fire.
