Wednesday, 28th June 2023: ACT IN TIME, SAVE TOMORROW.

Our Climate Clock creative streamed live in Piccadilly and across the London Underground for London Climate Action Week.

Just over 2 weeks ago, we were approached to deliver the creative campaign for the launch of the Climate Clock in the UK.

This was no small task. With over 150 billboards, all TFL, national rail, event broadcast and OBs around the country — this was our largest campaign to date!

The 1.5°C climate target for global warming is critical to the future of our planet so it was an honour to play a small part in pushing this key milestone out to the UK public.

Reaching over 4.3 million people, we are now more driven by the potential impact that this has had.

(Director's Cut)

As part of the campaign by Children with Cancer UK, we made a film sharing moments of Billy and Demi, characters based on the real-life stories of childhood cancer survivors. From the everyday to the extraordinary, when we look back on our lives, certain moments feel significant — family holidays, birthday parties, the first day of school. But for families going through cancer treatment, these milestones take on an even greater significance. For children with cancer, each and every moment is a milestone.

This campaign hopes to highlight the vital importance of the work done by Children with Cancer UK: funding life-saving research, supporting families and raising awareness as they work towards their collective vision.

Today marks the end of , and we made two documentaries as part of the September campaign.

We meet Josh in this second film, who loves the outdoors and aspires to be a wildlife photographer. We spent a day with Josh in the Peak District, joined by zoologist and nature filmmaker Deya Swift. Josh was diagnosed with Burkitt Lymphoma when he was 3, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Thankfully, Josh is now 8 years in remission, and Children with Cancer UK is striving to help fund vital research into kinder treatments to ensure that others like Josh can grow up to fulfil their dreams.

Looking back at one of the first studio shoots we produced after the start of the pandemic. It was a strange time for all but alongside Climate Action we were proud to pull off a 5-day virtual broadcast and help maintain some momentum for the COP agenda.

The Sustainable Innovation Virtual Forum in 2020 brought together over 10,000 people for a week to discuss sustainable innovation in climate policy, energy transition, future mobility, industry transition and agriculture, including a special episode from the Youth Agenda.

It featured various people from all corners of the world, with the likes of UNEP, United Nations, UN Food & Agriculture Organisation, Greenpeace International, LEGO, BMW, and many more.

Tackling Global Issues Locally

Project 001 || TransforMar A community-based environmental restoration project created by The Dune Project and the team behind Biblioteca do V***r. The day-to-day concerns of local inhabitants coupled with our knowledge of the state of the dune ecosystem at Cova do V***r has resulted in the need for an environmental restoration of the dunes in situ. Alongside this, comes the potential threat of an increase in the intensity and frequency of major storm events and a rise in global sea-level. With the Portuguese economy still suffering from the recent recession, not all projects of this nature can receive full funding from the government. Therefore, a new financing model is needed to ensure that we can successfully implement local scale environmental and social projects.

The Dune Project 001 aims to restore the dune ecosystem located on the beach of Cova do V***r near Lisbon, Portugal. This small neighbourhood is located 20 km away from Lisbon, yet it is completely surrounded by nature (the river on one side, the ocean and beach on the other and a strip of woodland area). The inhabitants are dependant on the natural capital and the subsequent economic boost that tourism brings for their livelihoods. Therefore, the preservation of the area’s resources is essential.
