The GigRadar Story

GigRadar’s mission is simple. We write about new rock, punk and metal bands, and we only write about bands that we like. We want to help people find new music, and discover what makes the bands that we talk to tick. So expect in-depth features and interviews, along with insight into the music and lyrics.

We set about our mission of finding the best new rock and metal bands in the UK, Europe and beyond back in September 2016. We’ve since profiled bands from all over the world, including Russia, Belarus, Malta, the US and Australia, as well as keeping it local with our New Band of the Week feature. We also try and get out there and see as many of the bands we write about play live, so check out our Reviews section. If you’re in a new band and want people to hear your music, or if you like the cut of our jib and want to get involved, give us a like, send us a DM or email us at [email protected]
