Recently, I was thinking about my dear departed Mum and the amazing things that she did for her family and children - often as a matter of course and rarely without thought to her own needs or well-being.

It is so important for all of us to consider the incredible role these amazing women who embrace motherhood play in our lives and their invaluable contribution to our society.
