We have had lots of great meetings in May and have booked in training days for most of our new presenters. At their training session we get confirmation of what their radio show will be called so stay connected to find out more.

Epsom Hospital Radio turn 45 years old AND celebrated by becoming an internet radio station. We have shared presenters in the past and recognise the important work that hospital radio does for both getting people into the media industry and raising the spirits of those undergoing treatment in hospital.

LinkAble host another Mayhem club night. This is an inclusive club night in Woking for people with learning disabilities. And THREE of our radio presenters DJ on this night to keep the crowds reaching for the lasers!
Now that we are facing a double digit birthday next year, let's start plans for a big party next year!

Surrey Hills Community Radio suspended programmes on Thursday 8th and Friday 9th August 2022 as a mark of respect.
We will host a Saturday and Sunday Breakfast Show this weekend to keep you up to date with the latest developments and to share the outpouring of messages locally and from around the world.
We will resume live shows from Monday 12th August 2022. Live shows offer the presenter a chance to react to this period of National Mourning and adapt their shows with a sensitive response.
Pre-recorded shows that were due to air this coming week will be rescheduled for a later date.

So sad to hear of the passing of Vangelis aged 79. He was an inspiration in the late 70’s for my love of electronic music. I saw him live in London. Great musician & a true genius.

Last weekend we celebrated 10,000 shows uploaded to Mixcloud (our listen again service)!
This is an amazing achievement by our nearly 8 year old radio station. Thank you to every presenter that turned up to do a show, to the big boss Dave and to each and every listener!
