May 2024 Update 📻 Firstly, Happy Birthday to the Boss! Hope you are having a lovely day by the sea! 🥳 Secondly, at the end of next week we would like to officially welcome our newest presenters. Let's get them settled in first! Don't want to scare them off! 👏 Thirdly, we are happy to announce our second year of partnership with The Orpheus Centre. Andrew and Josh will be joining us for 10 weeks of work experience 😁 Fourthly, whilst we are on the subject of work experience, all our places on our 2024 work experience week are now fully booked. They are so booked up we have put on a second week! We have actually doubled our work experience intake from last year 😮 Fifthly (is that even a word!?), so it is not a shock to you all we are in the middle of choosing a new logo for the radio station! Don't be alarmed! We promise you it will look great on a t-shirt🤩 Sixthly (I think these words are getting silly now!), we hope you are all excited for next month's birthday celebrations. Turn 10 is a big deal for us. It's a big deal for any radio station at the moment. It feels each week we lose another independent, local voice from the airwaves.
