Interesting addition to my collection, not least as it’s another from . 1993 is also coming, this from 1992.
Discovered and obtained because it contains the only released from a 1990s band called Lush - alternative rock band. Maybe, hopefully(?), one day there’ll be more…. But, in the meantime, I’m booked to see their lead-singer, Miki Berenyi, in September. And to reading her book this summer! And… I’ve her brand new single to play on the Transmission Show on July 14th!

Ref Sunday’s show, here’s a reply from Hectares about the meaning of their song title!
They say:
‘Just as you were interested:
Brundlefax is the title because The song is about striving to be one's authentic self in the face of life's complications. How can you face these challenges without changing our losing parts of yourself. Like the Character Brundlefly from the 1986 film The Fly - striving to be his own authentic self again.
..and also a story about a lady that called a fax support centre (many years ago) and spoke to one of our band members thinking her fax machine was supposed to physically send the paper to another fax machine (in the same way Brundlefly was transported from one machine to the other)

It was a funny story and so became a working title - which became the official title 😂!’

So, the mystery explained! Enjoy.
