“Formed by award-winning composer Michael W. Bell and multi-instrumentalist Obelisken, the long-time friends established ProtoVoid as a collaborative sound art project. Their aim was to combine their creative and technical experiences together to create immersive and atmospheric sonic experiences, which each listener can experience in their own unique and individual way.

“90377 Sedna” consists of 6 ambient soundscapes themed around the trans-Neptunian dwarf-planet Sedna, and its vast elliptical orbit. Through our creativity, we intend to take the listener on their own personal sonic journey through our solar system and as such, 90377 Sedna is best listened to in a darkened room on good quality comfortable headphones, allowing the mind to wander and escape the realities of the world as the soundscapes play out.”

About Us

Aurora Eclipse Productions Ltd (AEPL) was founded in 2013 by cinematic music composer, ambient sound designer and music producer Michael W. Bell as a vehicle for his creative output and an opportunity for collaboration with others. We are a collaborative music production company, studio and label specialising in the composition, design and release of original and multi-genre music.

With cinematic at our core, we have composed music and designed sound for film, TV, documentary, trailer, audio branding and more. We actively produce and release music for bands and artists with genres covering instrumental, soundtrack, orchestral, ambient/soundscape, rock, metal, avant-garde, new age and more.

Current Artists Include: Michael W. Bell, Iceni and SkyQuaker. Home of the AuroraCast Podcast.

Through our various projects, collaborations and the relationships we have build with fellow composers, musicians, music supervisors, visual creatives, bands and artists; AEPL has grown in recent years into a collective offering. In 2018, we began to sign, release and manage music on behalf of our collaborators with the aim of building a hub of music enthusiasts and creative professionals to network, collaborate and release their art.
