“Formed by award-winning composer Michael W. Bell and multi-instrumentalist Obelisken, the long-time friends established ProtoVoid as a collaborative sound art project. Their aim was to combine their creative and technical experiences together to create immersive and atmospheric sonic experiences, which each listener can experience in their own unique and individual way.

“90377 Sedna” consists of 6 ambient soundscapes themed around the trans-Neptunian dwarf-planet Sedna, and its vast elliptical orbit. Through our creativity, we intend to take the listener on their own personal sonic journey through our solar system and as such, 90377 Sedna is best listened to in a darkened room on good quality comfortable headphones, allowing the mind to wander and escape the realities of the world as the soundscapes play out.”

We have been busy over several months working with Leatherhead local George Jarvis to bring his first commercial project “Panama Rose” to life! We are really proud to announce that the project has now gone live! Panama Rose’s first EP “Jelly In A Jar” is steaming on all platforms worldwide; the EP is also available to buy via Bandcamp.

For some backstory, our work with George began way back in 2016… Since then, Mike has worked closely with George assisting and advising on how to use MacOS, Logic Pro X , backup and protect his work, recording, mixing, handling masters, marketing, royalties, PRS, PPL, web design, company registration, trademarking, project management and beyond…

Joseph Goldsmith is the CEO and Executive Producer of Persimmon Lane Studios, LLC; an audio and video production company. He is originally from Southern Maryland and now lives in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He is a full time dad, husband, composer, location sound recordist, post-production audio engineer, soldier, and GRAMMY-Nominated educator. He is also the Audio Director for Plover Animation which is staffed of alumni from Disney, Dreamworks, Sony, and more. Joseph has worked in the music, film, and graphic design industries as well as ministry since 2011. In his military service, he currently serves as the Public Affairs Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge of the 3rd Battalion for the South Carolina State Guard.

We view all our releases as prints in time. Back in 2016, we released Mike’s first album, “Awakening, the Early Scores”. This compilation album contained his film music cues contained within any short film projects he had worked on to that point. For Mike, it highlighted the beginning of his career and releasing an album of his early efforts was a good way to stamp this in time. Skip forward 5 years and in a similar vein, we now release “CINEMATIC”. If you listen close enough, you may just hear some of these tracks on the TV...

Emily has an amazing story to tell across multiple disciplines. She is a Surrey based music teacher who has been playing the piano since she was five (now holding grade 8 certification), she holds a Masters in Music Composition (MMus) from Kingston University, is an award-winning composer and is also a Pilot Officer in the RAF Air Cadets. Emily is currently offering a selection of online music workshops and theory/ piano tuition for all ages, to give support to those studying music, learning an instrument, or for those that need something fun, social and positive to keep their minds occupied!
