6 Day Acting for Camera Showreel Workshop with Director Stuart Davids
Following the success of our last workshop we are now booking an intensive Acting For Camera showreel Workshop with Director and Producer Stuart Davids (Wasted,Coronation Street,River City) 3 days of acting for camera technique and 3 days filming on location. There will be a casting session with Danny jackson prior to the workshop to cast the scenes. Actors will have one edited scene for showreel material.
The course will be led by Stuart Davids with a camera man/DOP and editor, there will also be a hair/make up artist on location days.
When: Monday 20th - Saturday 25th of November 2017, 10-5pm, (plus one evening casting session),
Where: Glasgow,
Cost: £400 (£150 deposit and balance due one month before)

The course will include camera technique (hitting marks, eyeline etc) slow walks and impro to create characters, rehearsing and shooting scenes on location, a casting session and the chance to look at the work back. The actors will also get an edited copy of their showreel scene uploaded to a link online.

Stuart started out as an actor and worked at most Scottish Theatre including
The traverse, Citizens and The Tron. He appeared in Taggart, Justice Game and three series of Hamish MacBeth. He is a founding member of Raindog Production company and began directing in 1991. He Co created and directed Tinsel Town and JCN 16 for BBC Scotland. He was a director on Coronation Street for 4 years and he has been a director at River City for many years and producer there for the past 4 years. In 2010 he produced the film Wasted which was nominated for a Scottish BAFTA for best direction and has produced many theatre productions.
