We are hiring an Office Production Coordinator!

We are excited to offer a fantastic job opportunity at Black Camel Pictures supporting and working for the company’s three producers.

Previous experience in scripted film or television production necessary and knowledge of post production workflows and paperwork (i.e. Silvermouse, Soundmouse) required.

The primary responsibility of the job will be coordinating production and post-production workflows to help the company manage their busy slate of projects, as well as assisting in a variety of day to day admin tasks. Please note that this is an in-house administrative position and the successful candidate will be working across multiple productions at the company level rather than in a production-specific coordinator role.

That's a wrap on AN T-EILEAN / THE ISLAND!!!

It's been nine weeks since we began shooting this Hogmanay set family crime drama, with five weeks for the cast and crew in Lewis & Harris and four weeks in Glasgow on location and at Nightsky Studios. It’s not been easy, but it has been majestic, wild, elemental and always an adventurous blast!

Huge thanks and congrats to our creator and writer Nick Osborne, co-writer Patsi Mackenzie, our amazing and generous cast and our incredible and creative crew. Everyone absolutely raised their game and played their important part!

Hugest thanks also to MG ALBA BBC ALBA, Screen Scotland and All3media international.

More news as soon as we have it. We cannot wait to share this 4 x 50' crime drama with you all very soon!

The cat is out of the bag!!

We are proud and delighted to be producing the first ever high-end Gaelic language drama made in Scotland, An t-Eilean (The Island).

It has been such a joy and a great collaborative endeavour to develop this gripping thriller together with creator/writer Nicholas Osborne, co-writer Patsi Mackenzie, MG ALBA , Screen Scotland and All3media international and the whole team are looking forward to beginning principal photography on the spectacular Hebridean isles of Lewis and Harris next month!
