I'm a big fan of pinstripes, maybe it's the old rocker in me but I think it's a great look on girls. I bumped into Kat during the day at the meet, I asked her to come back in this outfit for our impromptu shoot later. The tones and style look great in these.

Sometimes you just know when it's going to work out.

Back in April, I was invited to a meetup by in West Brom and met alot of cool creative folk, as well as some attractive and talented models. It was a day where Iearned alot and connected alot.

One such meet was Kat. We shot last on the day and while we didn't shoot for long, I'm very enamored with the results. And she was fun to work with. In true Zero Focus style, Kat becomes another noir chick 🤟

Been reading Rick Rubin's book

'The Creative Act, A Way of Being'

The chapters contain some lovely normal speaking terms of prose that blend well. I find myself nodding in agreement in the methods of staying creative. Something I have been battling back and forth with recently.

At the end of the day, this quote stuck out enough for me to share.

In life you can be on one line but the numbers you get could be on another line entirely.

This is no reason to pull the plug on your particular venture, you may need to swap lines, but you can do something in your own time. Just don't lose hope.

...

In the neon-lit heart of the city, where shadows danced with the flickering lights, Lee found herself in the smoky depths of a cyberpunk bar. Her eyes, sharp as a blade, scanned the room, taking in the motley crew of augmented humans and synthetics.

She slid onto a barstool, the chrome surface cold against her fingertips. "Whiskey," she murmured to the bartender, her voice a low purr that could charm secrets from stone.

As she nursed her drink, a figure slid onto the stool beside her. A man, his face half-hidden in the shadows, his cybernetic eye gleaming in the dim light.

"You look like trouble," he said, his voice a rough whisper.

Lee arched an eyebrow, a smirk playing on her lips. "You have no idea," she replied, her eyes gleaming with a dangerous allure.

They talked, swapping stories like currency in the underbelly of the city. Lee learned he was a private eye, chasing ghosts in a world where reality was as malleable as code.

But as the night wore on, and the whiskey flowed like liquid fire, Lee found herself telling him things she hadn't planned to share. Secrets spilled from her lips like blood from a wound, and she knew, deep down, that she could trust him.

Outside, the city throbbed with life, but in that moment, in that dimly lit bar, Lee and the private eye existed in a world all their own—a world of shadows and secrets, where the line between right and wrong blurred like the flickering neon lights.

Why do we wear hats?

Years ago, the hat was the finishing piece to ones everyday costume. The clothes we wore would be topped with a hat to mark.

Ladies love their flamboyant hats at weddings and occasions, however. Playing with a hat and throwing it in with fashion is what experimental dress sense is all about

sported a jumpsuit, but this hat enables a whole new avenue of exploration.

Action taking to make your way 🤟

Pics 1 and 2 are how I see myself and 3 is me with the man himself

I've not posted much new stuff for a while now but it's all about finding time for yourself sometimes.

What does being creative mean to you? What do you do? How often do you do it and who do you want to do it with?

For me it is about getting that client base I want, its about eventually doing what I want full-time.

When people read the name Zero Focus I want them not to think of having no Focus but in starting at zero and cranking that lens until they find that Focus.

Simply put I want people to associate Zero Focus as a brand that is wanted, respected and known for the kind of content that is memorable.

Almost a fortnight ago, I shot an event for that went off the hook and gave me another insight into event video. While there, I met a boss of a photographer who was busting out top headshots of the guests. We got to talking and he said he'd shoot some for me after the event.

It'll be 4 years this year since and I got together for this shoot in Regent Street. I met Katherine at comic con once and had always imagined there was better stuff for us to do together.

I was right.

I forged what would become Zero Focus's style altogether on this day.
