Want to know how to get on Instagram’s recommended feed? This week, Instagram’s very own @mosseri gave us the 5 things you need to do to be recommended on non-followers main feed. But rather than go find his video, we thought we’d share them with you! So, what do you need to do? 1. No watermarks! Do not, whatever you do, use content from another platform. We’ve all seen it done; posting TikToks on Instagram with the logo dancing across the screen. Business logos are absolutely fine though! 2. Add audio. Even if you’re just posting a photo or carousel, add some music to it. 3. Reels need to be 3 minutes or less in length. People’s attention span for videos is really short these days so keeping them shorter is definitely a good thing. 4. Make sure your content is original! Posting something that another creator has made is a big no no on Instagram and you will get penalised for it. If you do post using someone else’s content, make sure you’re adding your own personality to it such as a green screen. And finally… 5. Make sure your account is in good standing.
