My Dearest Mother and Sister,
As I sit down to write these words, my heart aches with emotions that are difficult to express. Yet, through the tears and the pain, there is one truth that remains unwavering: my love for both of you knows no bounds, and nothing can ever diminish the bond we share as family.
On this Mother's Day celebrated in the UK, I want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible women you are. You have both been pillars of strength, sources of love, and guiding lights in my life. Your warmth, kindness, and unwavering support have shaped me in countless ways, and for that, I am eternally grateful.
However, I cannot deny the pain I feel in knowing that there are parts of myself that you struggle to accept and understand. My journey to embrace my true identity as a transwoman has been one of self-discovery, courage, and resilience. It's a journey that I wish I could have shared more openly with both of you.
I understand that my truth may be difficult for you to comprehend, and I respect your feelings and perspectives, even if they differ from my own. But I also want you to know that my decision to live authentically comes from a place of deep honesty and self-love. It's not about rejecting who I was, but rather embracing who I am meant to be.
I dream of a future where we can stand together, hand in hand, accepting and celebrating each other for exactly who we are. Until then, please know that my love for you remains steadfast and unconditional. I am here whenever you're ready to talk, to listen, and to understand.
On this Mother's Day, I want to thank you both for the love, guidance, and support you have given me throughout my life. You are both incredible women, and I am proud to call you my mother and sister. Until we meet again. ðŸ˜
With all my love and warmest wishes,
Epoy
