This year, everything I've wished for is coming true. My emotions may be delayed, but they are here now, present and loud.

Thank you, Firenze Suona Contest , for this unforgettable moment. Thank you to the band members who believe in me and this journey, and to the friends who have been and continue to be by my side, believing in me.

We are incredibly proud to have achieved 2nd place, but I am especially honored to receive the Best Female Act award.

Today is the day I remember how much I teased you, calling you annoying, yet secretly cherishing every moment spent with you.

Today is the day I will never hear the voice again answering the phone saying " Ciao Sbronza" .

Today is the day knowing when I will wonder the streets of Lisbon with you, I won't discover the best tascas or where to eat the best Portuguese food.

Meri Lu Jacket è nata nel Regno Unito ma è cresciuta in Italia.
È una cantante, autrice, compositrice e musicista.
laureata in Songwriting presso la rinomata British Modern Music University a Bristol.

Le sue esibizioni sono molto coinvolgenti per la sua capacità di
mescolare diversi stili musicali.

Anche se molto giovane ha collaborato con molti artisti
provenienti da scene musicali di ogni tipo, soprattutto grazie al suo
girovagare per tutta Europa suonando nei vari angoli e piazze di tante città’.
Ora sta producendo con il suo team delle canzoni che via via vedranno la luce prima come singoli, poi raccolti in un EP o Album.
In questi brani sta collaborando con vari talenti come Tony Moore, un musicista esperto noto per il suo tempo con Iron Maiden e Cutting Crew, famoso per il brano iconico "Died in Your Arms".

Meri Lu Jacket, Armata della sua musica e della sua chitarra ha partecipato al Sofar Sounds in città iconiche come Parigi, Gothenburg Londra e Sofia.
Ogni volta cerca di trasportare il suo pubblico in viaggi emotivi
attraverso le sue esibizioni sia che si trovi in intime serate nei salotti, sia in concerti con un pubblico più vasto, per lei non fa differenza, il suo approccio è il medesimo.

In Toscana, è la mente imprenditoriale dietro "Maremma
Unplugged", un'azienda che organizza concerti intimi esclusivi sulle
colline pittoresche, aggiungendo un tocco di magia al paesaggio toscano.

Infine a Londra, Meri Lu Jacket ha una residenza nel rinomato
"Bedford Pub", un luogo sinonimo di esibizioni leggendarie di artisti come Ed Sheeran, KT Tunstall, James Morrison e James Bay. Non solo si esibisce sul palco con le sue performance una volta al mese, ma assume anche il ruolo di ospite e presentatrice.

I was very ill one day and was about to cancel a gig I had. I'm glad I didn't, as that night I met this amazing person. Our chats became inspiring, our coffee meetings turned into journeys to the moon, and our words transformed into songs. He is a true idol to follow, and thanks to him, my vision has improved. I can't wait to let you hear what and I have been cooking up! 🎶🎸

I used to complain about playing in the wrong places.. Well, I stopped. I realized I'm doing what I love, and there's no reason to complain. I'm following my passion, my dreams, no matter what. I don't give up easily, and great results always pop up! I'm so happy at the moment in my life. I couldn't desire anything else but continuing what I'm already doing!

Here's a couple of reasons why life sometimes can kick you in the Ass! :

1 - I always used to say, "Paris will probably be one of the last city I will visit, it doesn't inspire me that much" .
Well, I'm glad that didn't happen because it's a beautiful city, full of inspiration, art and energy.

2- I also used to say, " I hate french, no way I will ever date one".... Well, I'm in a 3 year relationship with a french incredible woman.

3- never say never in life, cause well it will go against you at some point!

I'm in Paris, and I'm in love!
