What are NFT’s??

NFTs (or non-fungible tokens) are unique digital tokens that serve as proof of ownership of an asset and cannot be replicated.

How do NFTs work?

When NFTs are minted (uploaded) they are tagged on the crypto blockchain with unique code that proves authenticity and ownership

What’s minting an NFT?

Minting an NFT means you are uploading your digital art/asset for the first time onto the blockchain. Where it will be unchangeable and tamper proof.

What can an NFT be?

An NFT can be anything in digital format such as. Digital art, drawings, photographs, videos, 3D renders, music, poetry. Even screenshots of your best tweets can be an NFT. The options are limitless.

Why should artists care?

Well for one it’s opening up a completely new platform for digital creators of all forms to monetize themselves on. Also artists get paid out royalties for each time their work gets resold which is a game changer.

Why should buyers care?

Buyers would be supporting local artists. They also have the trust that they are buying a 1 of 1 piece that guarantees ownership. On top of that the ability to resell really unique and cool work in the same NFT market they bought it on free of hassle’s

We look forward to having you join us in this movement as we help uncover the wonderful artists Ethiopia has to offer!

The reason as to why Yesosat was created was due to the abundance of talented artists in Ethiopia who have no way of monetizing and selling their work online. This is due to a lack of online payment systems in Ethiopia.

With limited online payment systems, Artists have no way of turning the local currency (Ethiopian Birr) into a currency that can be used to buy Ethereum or Bitcoin. These are needed to set up crypto wallets and connect to NFT platforms in order to mint and sell their artwork.

This is where Yesosat comes in. As we aim to bridge the gap between the creators in Ethiopia and the collectors of the world. Select Ethiopian artists now have an opportunity to sell their work through our Yesosat profile on .
