We craft high quality music for media, arts, film and advertising and provide all-round AUDIO-related-SERVICES. We can help our clients either technically, providing all the necessary for recording, editing, mixing and digital mastering, or artistically, producing and scoring music and sounds. We rely upon our hybrid (analog and digital) STUDIO with state-of-the-art equipment and a trusted network
of other facilities. We love to do location recording too, especially of acoustical (classical, baroque, jazz and contemporary) ensembles. Moreover we work as producers and/or publishers collaborating with selected acts worth of diffusion.

I had so much fun recording drums for an upcoming song. It’s always a pleasure recording drums, especially with a tight drummer like Simeon Böhm and his beautiful & beautifully sounding drum kit.

It’s been a pleasure doing live sound for the amazing Svetlana Marinchenko’s SVM3 trio (), The Tide () and Robert Lee Fardoe band yesterday at summer party! 🎈🎂 Even though it was meant to be “just a small party”, it wasn’t, as Kaos people is exceptionally creative.

Finally I managed to take some decent shot of the new control room 😅 and I’m glad to share them here.
The sound treatment in our control room has been designed by the amazing Mas Acoustics (Italy), thank you!, and it has been thought to provide large areas of bass frequencies and broadband absorption, and broadband absorption and diffusion behind the loudspeakers with the wooden panels. We will need to add some clouds on the ceiling later on, and diffusors behind the operator, nonetheless the room already has an even response and a controlled reverb time throughout the whole frequency spectrum allowing us to work efficiently.

These are room-in-a-room designed rooms, where adjacent walls don't touch each others and are decoupled, but without floating floors. All walls are made of osb and several layers of drywall and insulation material. The control room measures ca 25 square meters and the producer room is ca 15 square meters. The control room is connected to 2 live rooms where many musicians can perform together but with a good separation.�
Once more thank you KAOS Berlin for allowing us to convert the old workshop into these 2 beautiful spaces and for being such a lovely place and supporting community, and a big shout-out to my studio partner Frankie Insulina for doing this project together. Soon I'll also share some pictures of the finished rooms.

We’ve been silent but not still, and here’s a very important studio update!
In June last year my long time studio partner Frankie Insulina and I have had the chance to takeover a 55 square meters workshop adjacent to our old recording studio, to expand its capabilities and our possibilities.
After a long design phase, lengthy discussions with acoustic engineers and difficult decisions we finally have commissioned the building of two additional soundproofed rooms and I’m thrilled to announce that the expanded studio is now ready and fully operational.
The recording studio complex now consists of 4 rooms: a main control room, 2 live rooms and an additional editing/producer room, for a total of circa 90 square meters.
A hearth-felt thank you to KAOS Berlin for allowing us to convert the old workshop and for being such a lovely, unique, place and community.

Failsafe Editions is a professional recording, mixing and mastering studio, run by Stefano Tucci, a musician and sound engineer with more than 10 years experience in the field.
Located in the awesome KAOS Berlin complex in a quiet area by the Spree and comfortably reachable via public transport, the recording studio, shared with fellow sound engineer Francesco De Dominicis, is a good balance between analog and digital hardware, aiming at taking the best from both worlds. It is divided in 2 areas, a control room and a live room (with complete backline), both acoustically treated to minimise unwanted noises from outside and to optimise the rooms acoustics.
We have recently installed an amazing Audient ASP4816 analog in-line mixing console, some beautiful, military-grade Bittree studio patch-bays and other esoteric professional cabling/stage boxes from Mogami, custom made for us at Pro Audio L.A. All the gear, and the mixer, is now housed inside a super ergonomic black desk from BusoAudio and in a rolling rack underneath.
Thanks to these enhancements, we can now acquire up to 32 audio channels using all-analog paths from both the desk and our external preamps (Universal Audio, Solid State Logic and Focusrite) through state-of-the-art converters (Antelope Orion 32+), and mix up to 64 analog channels (using desk, outboard eq, processing, and the Neve 8816), infinite tracks in the digital domain, or choose an hybrid approach. All this flexibility means that we are able to offer different options and workflows, depending on one’s needs, sound preferences, timing and budget.
Moreover, we can rely upon a network of other studios and are also equipped to offer location recordings in churches, auditorium or private places.
