It is all about Mindset.
Sure, there are times when circumstances have a big impact on our business success and performance but, when it comes to sales, Mindset is key.
After having had a negative experience with a car dealer, I had almost given-up on creating videos showcasing car dealerships. I thought that business was dead for me and started to believe my own negative thinking toward that industry.
Then one thing happened: 2 dealerships came to me requesting I shoot their corporate videos. The experience was great and both of them had zero changes to the video V. 1 we sent them!
That is always a good sign! If we have a negative mindset toward a specific industry and if we believe that we will not benefit from approaching businesses in that field, then we materialize these thoughts and they become a reality.
On the other hand, if we approach every day with a fresh Mindset and if we believe we can bring true value to our clients, we then create an environment for exciting things to happen.
We never miss an opportunity to be on or near the water.
This summer we had the pleasure working with Port Boathouse in Port Alberni. What a beautiful destination. They have a great selection of boats.
We also filmed locations of the dealer clients which gave us the opportunity to head up Island for this video.
We had been to Sointula a few years back on a boat holiday. It has a unique history on the coast. Finnish immigrants established this charmingly rustic harbour town on Malcolm Island in the late 19th century. Their vision of a utopian community failed.

Bizwell Studio travels to many areas in BC and Alberta to attend and create events that are inspiring, educational and motivating for people looking at pushing the boundaries in their personal and professional lives. The event mentioned below are a perfect example of this.
Human contact and connection are critical to our health and well being, as we all are social creatures ... OK, I get it, some of us are more social than others maybe!
I have been really missing attending conferences and meeting people in person in the last 2 years. As a video and film production company, we have organized many exciting events in the past all over Canada and the US. We would choose a city or town, book a nice theatre and bring motivational speakers and cast members to share discussions from the stage around our films. This has always been a very interesting and rewarding process for us, as it has allowed us to spend time in communities we only superficially knew before and really discover the local vibrant life that many of the smaller communities have.
One of my favorite Canadian cities is Edmonton. I have always liked the entrepreneurial spirit and simple, down to earth attitude that prevails. The city is also very beautiful in the summer, with the Saskatchewan river cutting through it and all the beautiful green spaces.
