She was so beautiful that she looked like an art. Because art is supposed to make you feel something. And I felt my world painted in the prettiest picture with the magic of her colors. My very first friend I made, who lived opposite my house, Humaira. Before we even knew the alphabet appropriately we played hide and seek, had endless bicycle rides, countless gossip, ran on the streets with no limit there enjoyed my childhood with my dearest.
Could I be luckier to say we went to the same school, saw each other every day, had our chit-chat moment during snack break, and enjoyed every other school function together she had been a wonderful friend to me. Those were the times one couldn’t ever figure out who is meant for you in the future. We could never imagine being more than friends, Tanvir had different friends, plans, work, and hangouts with different friends and she had different choices, friends, and work in life. We have had our life with work, hanging out with our friends, going to places, and exploring. The school was the only place where we were connected. Humaira had her different path too busy with life, work, and family, and I had been busy on my own ever since we left school, we were so young I couldn’t even imagine seeing each other last when we were in grade 8.
I had been living my life, going to university, hanging out with my buddies, working day and night no clue about my school friends. Years passed we developed ourselves into better, and witnessed ups and downs just one day after years she knocked me ‘Hey how are you’ That moment I went back to our childhood I had the most amazing time with my friend, Humaira it would be great to catch up after years. The hangout after 7 years hit me with how much fun we had, the mischievous Humaira had grown up, and nothing had changed between us everything was exactly the same except that we grew up. In days we went back to childhood, seeing each other every day, walking her home, having street foods, and attending weddings together, I felt I had someone back again who meant a lot to me which I couldn’t figure out.
Times went by when I realized she gives me comfort, I feel happy when I’m around her, I love seeing her every day, she makes my life more colorful, and she is always so happy and bubbly that I could never be sad around her. That was the moment I didn’t know if she felt the same about me, I was anxious what if I lost the friendship I had? Does she feel the same? I was so clueless that I wanted to stop talking. Nonetheless, I had to confess but before that, she got so engaged with me that I couldn’t stop thinking about her all day. I always wondered if she did the same.
As days passed we shared our feelings with each other, she had the same feeling about me how could I get so lucky? Then and there I found the love of my life, we never expected to have a relationship, this is so true nothing goes as planned, you never know when it’s the right time and the right person is next to you.
I have been so anxious in front of Tanvir, that I could never picture myself with him being his girlfriend. Little did I realize I was the luckiest I found someone as energetic as me, the person who gives me peace, there’s something about his eyes that makes me blank, I never knew I could be so lucky in love. The best thing I found my love in friendship, and my husband.
Getting married to the person I have known since childhood, is the best thing that could ever happen to me, no matter what the circumstances are, this person will always stick by me, showering me with his love every day I couldn’t be more grateful to have him as my husband. I’m the luckiest. Words aren’t enough to put up how we both are happy to be with each other, deep down we have always wanted a person just like us and we found each other.
Still in disbelief that she’s my wife, sometimes I wonder if am I dreaming because forever just started with her. Not anything is better than living with the love of my life. There goes always and forever, Us.
The Lovestory of Humaira & Tanvir takes us back to the feeling that indeed Love is the purest form of emotion. May True Love long live forever.

It's been 5 years since we started our journey. Right from the beginning, we were very serious about our relationship, even considering it as a commitment. It was challenging as Shadman was in Sylhet, and I was in Dhaka. We had completely opposite personalities, and dealing with the hurdles of a long-distance relationship felt like riding a roller coaster. Despite all this, we somehow managed to stick with each other.
Nusrat & Shadman's budding love touched our soul. So did the images we made in their golden hour session followed by a joyful wedding celebbration

লেখাটা যখন লিখছি তখন প্লেনের পাশের সিটে ভদ্রলোক নাক ডেকে ঘুম! সীমান্ত পেরিয়ে আমরা পাড়ি দিচ্ছি সাত সমুদ্র অধরা এক স্বপ্নকে ধরতে! আজ থেকে ৫ বছর আগে যেই স্বপ্নটা কেবল আমরা না, এই জগতে এমন একটা মানুষও নাই চিন্তা করতে পেরেছিল! কত শত ঝড় বয়ে গেল! এমনকি গত বছরও এই দিনটা কল্পনা করতে পেরেছিলাম কি!
আমাদের আগুনের দিন শেষ হয়েছে, কৃষ্ণচূড়া হাতে অপেক্ষার দিনও শেষ, তোমার বেলাবোস এবার চাকরিটাও পেয়ে গেছে, এপিটাফের প্রতি পাতা জানে আমার মতে তোর মতন কেউ নেই! বুক ভরা আবেগটুকু চেপে হঠাৎ করে বড় হয়েই গেলাম!
নতুন করে আর কি বলব! শুধু জানি ২০১৮ সালে সব ছেড়ে সীমান্ত পেরিয়ে মুক্ত এক জীবনে যেই পথের শুরু, সীমার বাধন ছিড়ে আজ শেষমেশ আজীবনের জন্য ধরা খেয়েই গেলাম! কতটুকু ভালবাসি, দায়িত্ব, কর্তব্য এইসব হিসেব কষে দিনশেষে শুধু জেনো, উপরে যিনি আছেন, সেই এক ও অদ্বিতীয় ঈশ্বরের ইচ্ছাতেই আমাদের এক হওয়া আর আমার কাছে তুমি ঠিক সেরকম এক সত্য!
বিয়ে আর কার কাছে কি জানি না, আমার কাছে তুমি মানে এক আকাশ সমান স্বাধীনতা! অদ্ভুত এক ঘোরে কেটে গেছে ২০১৭ থেকে ২০২৩, এভাবেই কেটে যাক বাকি বছর. দিন ভালো কাটুক আর খারাপ, আমরা যেন স্বাধীনতায় বাচি! মায়ায় নয়, আমরা যেন মমতায় আটকে থাকি আজীবন! প্রত্যাশাকে বুড়ো আঙুল দেখিয়ে আমরা যেন প্রাপ্তিতে পুর্নতা খুঁজে পাই! একে অপরের অর্ধাঙ্গ না হয়ে আমরা দুইজন দুইজনের পুর্নাঙগ হবার পথের সাথি হয়ে থাকি আজীবন! আলাদা করে কি বলতে হবে ভালবাসি !
