Poetry in Me

On my shoulders I carry the foot prints of a lion.
I am boulder but steady to bury fate with the tooth of a python.
I grow stronger when haters paint walls with the blood of my sores.
I get colder when faith is absent, in humanity life span seems to be shorter.
Poetry will you please calm my soul.
Poetry I beg you to grant me a picture perfect philosophy to recite and never stop the show.
Paint in my vision the ruins that sleep in memories of those who saw the heavy pours of 40 days and nights.
When my subconscious mind awakes in my dreams I see the true rainbow colors of Eve alongside those of the Queen of Shebba.
I never cry because my tears are magnetic to pain as if they are made of hot mercury.

Petals of my voice spit honey but it is sour to ear drums that are filled with wax.
The harder stones you throw at me the stronger I am to catch.
My grip is stronger than a sip.
My sit In righteous world stands taller than a hip.
