Founded in 2003, Film & Event Media produces trade publications, and acts as an online media hub for the film, business events, and food and beverage industries. We are committed to the growth and development of the sectors we serve, and our publications are resources to local and international stakeholders.
We publish the bi-monthly Event, Africa’s leading business-events industry magazine, and the Event Planner’s Guide to Africa, an annual which was launched at Meetings Africa 2013 and is endorsed by SANCB. We publish the bi-monthly Callsheet, Africa’s leading film industry magazine, and the Filmmaker’s Guide to Africa, an annual marketing tool for the local and international film, television and commercials sectors. SA Chef is the latest addition to our fold, also a bi-monthly publication. It is the voice of the South African Chefs Association.
We are also experienced at custom publishing, having designed the annual EXSA Guide, the Sithengi Market Guide, the Cape Town International Film Festival Guide, the Markex Buyers Guide, ATFT film festival booklets, as well as daily print and digital news for Meetings Africa, Durban FilmMart, UFI Congress and Africa’s Travel Indaba, among others.
