Responsibilities:
• Lead and implement NFVF's strategies.
• Build relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements:

• NQF Level 8 in Public Administration/Governance or Business Management (Master's preferred).

A consummate professional with vast industry knowledge, Liezel made a huge impact through her roles as Communications Manager for the Documentary Filmmakers Association (DFA), producer for Go Trolley Films, Mycelium Media, and Okuhle Media, as well as production executive for Off the Fence.

Liezel enriched our industry and inspired all who had the privilege of working with her. Her absence will be deeply felt.

1. Client Liaison:

2. Sales and Marketing:

Minister Patricia de Lille speaking at the Africa Tourism Leadership Forum in Botswana today and asks for government support with film production. She says, “If we for instance look at the film industry in South Africa, again there is a massive opportunity where we must make sure we open up our borders and we assist the film industry with production costs because they are the sector that will help us promote and market South Africa and the continent around the world.”

This support from Minister Patricia de Lille coincides with the launch of Filmset Africa, the world’s first location platform hosting both state-owned and private sector locations, the platform is marketed to local and international filmmakers. A pioneering initiative, with technological advancement working smart for the global film network.
