Shifted Vision Media is a collection of podcast, written, and video media. The main focus of the site is to highlight local content, music, topics, and entertainment. The team consists of a group of like-minded people, brought together due to their focus, drive, and passion for entertainment. The team consists of John Michael Laspina, and myself, Michael Lake. We have worked many hours together wr

iting, recording, and producing these shows in order to bring you the best content possible. We promise to continue to grow in it and keep you entertained. The team is growing, and will be adding content including a written section that will include blogs, editorials, and event reviews. Our Story

Shifted Vision Media’s intention is to challenge the masses, to change the view of hip-hop and members of the minority community. Through entertainment and open conversation, our intention is to be an expression of a culture that otherwise is suppressed in mainstream media. The often perpetuated stigma of our target audience, is many times broad and dismissive, and we aim to “be the change” we want to see. We will provide media aimed at this purpose.

This network will provide an alternative media platform for those voices utilizing a collection of podcast, video, and other media. We will highlight local content, music, topics, and entertainment. A shift denotes a change, vision infers sight, and our vision is clear.

The team consists of a group of like-minded people, brought together due to their focus, drive, and passion for entertainment. The team is lead by myself, Michael Lake, and consists of core contributors Steven Mitchell, Tony Mathurin, Claude Pearson, and Cary McMillian. We have worked many hours together writing, recording, and producing these shows in order to bring you the best content possible. This is a learning process. We promise to continue to grow in it and keep you entertained.
