This picture brought me so much joy!🤩

I had to pick Kenny up from school early because he wasn’t feeling well, so me and him took a little walk around the park that we spotted.

As y’all see, I love taking pictures & I’m usually behind the camera !😏

As we were leaving the park Kenny looked at me and said “mommy, let me see your phone. Let me take a picture of you.” He proceeds to say… “Now, laugh mommy!” 😂

This picture could have turned out terrible but would have still made me smile! 😁

I’m praying he stays this considerate & aware!😍

Life happens & moves fast! Each day we’re chasing our next task, chasing our kids, chasing work deadlines, etc…. But we can’t forgot to pause!

This weekend PAUSE is nice… Nothing fancy, nothing busy… Just the great outdoors, good people, good food, and lots of laughs!

Whether it’s from their happy fun loving spirits that brightens my day or the busyness that takes it away, they are always the best medicine!😆

I told you all in my stories yesterday about me having a rough day at work and appreciate those that encouraged me by DMs❤️

My sister gave me a word of advice this morning and it’s so true, “It’s okay to feel!” Often times it’s made to be a bad thing if you’re having an off day… But that’s completely normal! The thing is you have to get up from it!

Friends, Feel what you need to feel! But make sure you get up from it!😘

If you’ve been here a while you know little Kenny keeps us on our toes, and I feel like Christian is going to be tagging right along with him!🥴🤣

But I have to say, I love how cute they are together and how much Kenny loves his little brother.. It’s the cutest thing!

As an Women, Mother, and African-American, we are often met with many biases, but I refuse to allow those hold me down.

Here are a few ways you can

-Listening before making your own assumptions
- Stepping outside of your comfort zone of people
- Looking at people as humans and not how or who they identify as

I officially completed my first week back to work from maternity leave yesterday, and I have to say, it felt good to be back!

For the last few weeks I’ve tried to be more consistent at preparing things to prepare to return to work such as meals, laundry, etc. to make life a little easier for our household once I returned to work. I can say it was well worth it!
