Minors ordering alcohol
Last night I had a guy order a beer. I asked for his ID and he handed it to me. 2004. I laughed and handed it back and said “my dude, you’re 20, I can’t serve you. How bout a shirley temple?” His girlfriend says “damn, youre good at math. You’re the first one to catch it, he’s been served here before.”

Like wtf, the ID being vertical makes it pretty easy. What a dumb reason to lose your job.

They were a fun group tho. We joked around and had some good convo so I can’t be mad.

They tipped well and I told him that if he comes back on his 21st I’d buy him that beer.

How do you handle these situations?

A. Yup, the US drinking age is dumb. Not really the point.

B. I know you can still have a vertical and be over 21. But I’m definitely looking closely if it’s vertical. Also not really the point.

Clifford and I have been married almost 41 years and I have made his lunch every working day since day 1. On occasion I would join him on the job site and have lunch with him. He made the comment once that lunch tasted better when you share it with someone you love ❤️. Soon after that, while fixing his sandwich one night, I took a bite out of it before putting it away. When he got home (long before cell phones) he commented that someone took a bite out of his sandwich. I told him that since I couldn’t join him for lunch, I took a bite so he knew I was joining him. I continue to do this frequently (unless it’s tuna or pimento cheese) and he still says, 'saw you joined me for lunch today and it sure was good."

Wendy’s Frosty! ….4cups chocolate milk, 3/4cup sweetened condensed milk and half a tub of Cool Whip thawed. Mix in blender before pouring in the Slushi. Whole milk chocolate milk is best, I tried 1% but it is more like a milkshake consistency. Very tasty either way 😋 enjoy 😊

Tried the chicken big mac earlier from McDonald's. Lemme just say this. This sandwich tore my ass up. Had me having contractions in the bathroom like it was my delivery date. Not to mention the sandwich tasted like minced deer ankles mixed with raccoon ass.

It's a hell nah from me.

Mcdonald's, yall owe me 3 rolls of toilet paper.

Okay let me school some of you guys. As a server they make $5 hr which they typically work anywhere from 4-7 hrs a day $20-$35. So their kids live/survive off the tips. So if you don’t want to tip at least 18% do the servers a favor stay at home or eat fast food. Don’t get me wrong not all servers give great service but I’d never not leave a tip or leave just $5. You’d be pi**ed if your job only paid you half your check and they work just as hard as anyone else. If you ain’t got no money keep your broke ssa home! Rant over 🩵🧑‍🍳
