The Long Road

These are the awards I’ve won... so far. I’ve won six Emmys®, two Telleys®, a Communicator Award, and the two red records are albums that I mixed that won Independent Music Awards. When I look at that picture above I think about the decades long road that got me to where I am today. I’m no longer that quiet/shy kid who had a passion to make some music- now I’m a composer/producer who is thriving in this wacky thing called the music biz. When people come to me to help them with their project, they- well maybe you- are asking for help with their dreams. I don’t take this lightly- it’s a heavy responsibility. Sure- it’s just music: no-one will live or die by the choices I make. But in terms of handling other people’s dreams, there’s really no higher calling. What keeps me going everyday? In college I had a dream one night. In the dream, stacks of empty manuscript papers floated around an old, grey haired version of myself, but only a few of the manuscript pages had any music written on them. I took this to mean that I had to spend my life making music to fill these pages from this dream. And so I do. I can help you too.
