We founded Beat by Beat Press after listening to parents, teachers and directors tell us that schools and theaters back in their community would love the opportunity to produce these fresh and original shows. They, like us, felt that kids should have a chance to act in something made specifically, and especially, for them.

A month ago we released Chasing the Sky, our first TYA musical now available for perusal and licensing. We founded Beat by Beat Press after listening to parents, teachers and directors tell us that they don’t want just another fairytale adaptation or repacked adult musical. They want meticulously crafted shows built from the ground up for young performers.

We believe in musical theater’s power to unlock a child’s creativity and build self-confidence. That’s why we’re 100% dedicated to creating today’s best new resources for young actors and the incredible educators who work with them.
