America-Bangladesh Press Club Est 2008 America-Bangladesh Press Club America-Bangladesh Press Club (ABPC) was founded by the Bangladeshi journalists living in New York on 13 March 2008.

Sayeed-ur-Rab, Editor of New York-based Bangla-language weekly Thhikana and journalist-writer Darpan Kabir were elected founder President and founder General Secretary of the Club respectively. Journalists of other New York-based Bangla newspapers such as Porichoy, Ekhon Shomoy, Darpan, Asian Times, news agency ENA, New York correspondents of NTV, ATN Bangla, Channel i, Ekushey Television, TV Asia

and Bangla TV as well as representatives of some Dhaka-based newspapers had been in the process of launching the Club. ABPC is now well-known to Bangladeshi community living in different parts of the world including the United States and Bangladesh. Bangladeshi journalists in the US and Bangladesh have been attending various programs of the Club on a regular basis. Following are the highlights of major programs ABPC organized in New York in the past 9 years.
