The Future of TCC
tldr: the podcast has ended, YouTube videos will cease, streaming DFFOO/other games will happen on Twitch, the discord will remain active
After almost five years and over 200 episodes, it is time to say goodbye to your DFFOO podcast. Personally, I don’t have the same time and passion to put into this project that I did early on or during the pandemic.
I’m also going to move away from YouTube. I do not have a lot of creative ideas when it comes to this platform, nor do I want to invest the large amount of time needed to make it successful. I’ve played around with a lot of ideas, but none of then really stirred anything in me.
I’ll continue on Twitch and may stream DFFOO from time to time. I would actually like to stream games with Mino and others and hang out with all of you in a fun and unscripted way.
We’ll keep the discord open as long as it is active We have some great people there and it would be nice to get back to a smaller community on discord in my opinion.
I am not deleting DFFOO and I still plan to play. I enjoy the game but it occupies very little of my time, and that is okay. I am excited for anniversary content, the GL first, and the new mechanics being introduced in JP.
Thank you all for your ongoing support of our podcast and channel. Thanks to Pierre who started this back in the FFRK days. Thanks to Kriese, Aaro, and so many other friends who have joined us over the years. Shout outs to Quetz, Cedar, and JdotA, who help run our discord. Special thanks to Mino who has been a great friend and cohost for these many years.
We truly appreciate all of you and this great journey we have been on together. Even though this is the end of one era, the journey continues and there are always new adventures on the horizon. Thank you all!
