Born and raised in Christiania - an artist’s commune in Copenhagen, Denmark - grew up surrounded by intense creative energy.

From his childhood roots as a hardcore skater to his film school studies and through to his directing accomplishments, MEETO has developed a unique style all his own.

His work is a wonderfully balanced combination of beautifully executed fantasy along with authentic humanity.

MEETO has created award winning spots and campaigns around the world for brands like Coca-Cola, Reebok, Philips, Absolut, Arla, Mikkeller, and many others.

His work has won numerous awards, including a Silver Young Director award from Cannes and a Gold from Kinsale.

MEETO only just joined Bunker and already he’s hard at work, helming a new U.S. campaign for Johannes Leonardo.

Steve Sweatpants is most notably the Co-Founder & Director of Street Dreams Magazine and Street Dreams Radio .radio

His list of current and former clients include Apple, Nike, Sony, Adidas, NBA, TED X, HBO, Timberland, Leica, Cartier, Chelsea FC, The New York Times, and The National Academy Of Television Arts and Sciences.

Steve and BUNKER first joined forces working on a creative project for Honda together in 2016.

Steve was recently honored by the CIty Of New York for his contribution to Arts and Culture at a tribute show entitled New York City Hip Hop | The Photo Tribute Exhibition.

A stunning new film from Director will be premiering soon.

In his own words...

“A Girl in a Fortress” is a tribute to Indian miniature painting art. The conscious decision to not contextualise the story and to not give certain information to the viewer, is motivated by my own experience when facing Indian myths. As a western viewer, the sensation of mystery and secrecy that one experiences when confronted for the first time with Indian miniature paintings is exactly this; you see those strange characters, gods, kings and princesses of another time, in beautiful forests or palaces, enclosed in hieratic and symbolic scenes, that you do not quite understand. You perceive that they are telling you a story that you do not know but, at the same time, you perfectly understand the emotion they are evoking. Their universe seduces you and makes you fill the gaps of the story in your head. You write part of the story that you are experiencing, making the story different for each viewer.

I love that feeling.

I want the viewer to face this story the same way I did years ago, as if he/she is observing a series of unknown paintings on the walls of a museum.

Warner Bros. and MGM have released the first trailer for the highly anticipated upcoming YA adaptation The Sun Is Also a Star. Based on the book of the same name by Nicola Yoon, the film stars Yara Shahidi (Black-ish) as a Jamaica-born woman named Natasha who meets and falls in love with a college-bound romantic named Daniel (Charles Melton) in the course of a single day. However, as her family faces deportation and with hours left on her last day in the U.S., Natasha finds herself fighting against the world—and her own feelings.

This appears to be far from your average YA adaptation. For one thing, the cinematography by Autumn Durald Arkapaw (Palo Alto) is flat-out gorgeous, bringing an intimate, cinematic tone to the proceedings under the direction of Ry Russo-Young, who herself has been working to craft unique films like Before I Fall and Nobody Walks. Seriously, this movie just looks incredible.

Beyond the stunning aesthetics, this is also clearly not just an immigrant story, but a love story between two minorities living in the United States. That inherently makes the film feel refreshing and unique, just as films like The Big Sick and To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before brought fresh perspectives to well-worn genres. So yeah, adding all of this together, combined with this arresting debut trailer, and The Sun Is Also a Star has just made a pleasantly surprising appearance on my “most anticipated films of 2019” list. The film also stars John Leguizamo and opens in theaters on May 17th. - Collider
