Brrrrr...it's cold out there! Good morning! Sun to a few PM clouds and cold with highs in the 40s to around 50 range. Turning milder and milder through the weekend! Happy birthday Marines! What a great Marine Corps 249th birthday celebration in Branford at Longley’s yesterday! The oldest Marine present was 89 years old & the youngest was 20 years old. They shared a piece of cake as a symbol showing passing the tradition on from oldest to youngest. Next year is a biggie at 250 years! 🫡❤️🇺🇸 Thank you to all for organizing such a great event!

It’s Friday! I’m expecting sunny skies today with mild temperatures again, but it’s actually going to be more windy than yesterday! We have a red flag warning for the extreme fire danger. Also, it’s going to stay very windy through midnight tonight. Most of the weekend is OK until around and after sunset Sunday when some rain will sneak in. I want to remind you to check in on the veterans special on channel 8 at 5:30 PM Sunday! also, the rain will end early enough for veterans events on Monday. Have a great weekend!
