One more shout out to brands who get it right. Did you hear about what the CEO of Stanley 1913 did when he saw this video post of a consumer who had her car catch on fire and her Stanley cup was the only thing to survive? Watch the video....Yes it's good PR but not every company would have done this. I'm glad it has a positive ending.

I absolutely love this SI cover story on The LA Rams and Super Bowl Champion Andrew Whitworth. What you don't know is that during the entire zoom video interview NFL reporter Greg Bishop was on dad duty and was swaddling and rocking his baby baby in his arms the entire time. I am not sure if I'm more impressed by Greg or Andrew speaking seriously throughout the interview with an adorable baby cooing.

This may go down as one of my favorite bookings throughout my career. Andrew Whitworth is such an incredible football player and human being with an amazing wife (she makes me laugh constantly) and a beautiful family. To play a football game, win the Super Bowl and celebrate to the wee hours and then pull off such an eloquent interview on live TV without sleep takes huge talent. Congrats Andrew.

New client alert. I am working with Peace 4 Animals and animal activist Katie Cleary. This is a dream client for me since I am so passionate about animals and to help bring awareness, stop the abuse and to stop poachers who are causing animals such as gorillas, wolves and rhinos to go extinct.

I would love to offer Katie up for any reporting on animals issues from all over the world. Here you can see Katie releasing a sea turtle in Maui after it was rehabbed by Maui Ocean Center’s Marine Institute.

Peace 4 Animals, a non-profit animal welfare organization focused on saving threatened and endangered species around the world was interested in helping to save marine life off the coast of Hawaii, so they visited MOC Marine Institute on Maui a few years ago and were very impressed by their sea turtle rescue program. They loved the amazing work that MOC was doing and wanted to help the organization save more Honu on the island.

They met with the founder of the sea turtle rescue program Thomas Cutt to see some of their sea turtle patients and were shocked to learn that many were injured due to fishing line entanglement wrapped around their flippers, neck, or even in their mouth, along with many fishing hook injures, plastic pollution consumption, boat strike injuries, and disease.

Peace 4 Animals knew that they wanted to help so they asked Thomas what was the most urgent need for the rescue and he said constructing a Sea Turtle Hospital, so Peace 4 Animals made a contribution towards helping MOC construct a small hospital for the hundreds of sea turtles that they rescue every year. The hospital should be finished in the next year. Peace 4 Animals looks forward to their continued partnership with MOC Marine Institute which is going above and beyond to save Hawaii’s precious sea turtles for generations to come.

I would have been on a plane to the Sundance Film Festival tomorrow to promote this incredible campaign. Although life works in the most mysterious ways and workers in my home to fix my vents (99%sure) gave me Covid and (to someone who is SO SAFE) so I wouldn't have been able to get on that plane anyways so maybe it's a good thing the festival is now virtual.

My wonderful producer friend Steve Ridgeway from The Tonigjht Show with Jay Leno was working on the NBC Betty White 90th bday televised event. He knew I had Betty Crocker as a client and our chatting and collaboration resulted in designing and baking her bday cake and mini cakes for all the guests. It was an incredible night. In fact, I’m standing in front of this photo. Betty was gracious and kind. One of the best and a true legend. I’m glad she drifted off in her sleep peacefully and she will no doubt make a mark in heaven.

Are you ready for another incredible story? The Skid Row Runners are an organization created by Judge Craig Mitchell to help those who were homeless on Skid Row and struggling with addiction. by creating a running and triathlon group he was able to give so many people a purpose and support system. It's one of the many reasons why I love endurance sports so much.

The Skid Row Runners are participating in the Herbalife24 Triathlon Los Angeles this Sunday. They deserve all the support they can get! I've been very touched getting to know the judge and some of these incredible team members. We hope they have a great experience and will be cheering them on

I love when I get to combine my personal interests with my PR work. I'm thrilled to be helping out again with the Herbalife24 Triathlon Los Angeles on October 24th. The event had it's debut in 2019 and then was postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions in 2020.

There's still time to sign-up for this year's event and there's also a fun 5K race in DTLA and a bike tour starting at Venice High School (fun fact - The movie Grease starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton John was filmed there).
