No matter what things may look like, feel like or seem…if its contrary to what God said will be then its a lie. Don’t believe the hype satan wants to sell you about your life. I had a breakdown, I cut my hair, I launched a podcast 😱 listen to my story on how I went from having suicidal thoughts, dreams and visions to sharing my story and finding my purpose in this season.
January is Stalking Awareness Prevention Month and today, January 18, is the National Day of Call-To-Action to participate in “loudly” bringing about awareness to the illegal crime of stalking.
I didn’t know any of this. Never knew such a month or day or casue existed. Until I had to know.
Thanksgivingvng Day 2023, I had a nervous breakdown. I was triggered at the onset of some debilitating news from the Victims Advocate office representing me, and I mentally spiraled and emotionally broke.
I chopped my hair off and I drowned in depression for days. Why my hair? Mentally, in the moment, it was the thing that made sense to try to detach from the history of what I’ve endured for the last 2 years. I didn’t want to. I didn’t mean to. But I took all the “self-harm” out on my hair.
I started dreaming and seeing visions of my leaving this life.
I, angrily, gave God an ultimatum to take me or use me fully for what He wanted from me because I was “tired” and just over it all.
His love showed me that my silence was what was hurting me and that releasing my story regardless of the fear and shame was what would heal me.
And many.
Today - Jan 18, 2024, I released the launch of my new podcast, “Behind This Smile” and I share my story of overcoming stalking.
Today, I take my voice and my power back.

I’ve been doing a lot of soeaking since the beginning of the year. From the launch of my own podcast to guest on others podcasts, tv, radio and stages. In the midst of sharing more of my story I have found myself under very heavy attack through spiritual warfare. After this conference, in specifc, I battled NOT slipping into a deep depression for nearly two weeks. I couldn’t figure out what or why or how I had been triggered so intensely UNTIL I was praying one day and God reminded me of this scripture. He reminded me that I WAS “overcoming” by the WORD of my testimony. He reminded me that I WAS breaking barriers, setting souls free and sharttering the plot and plan of the enemy, not just for others but in my very own life…by speaking. My speaking up and sharing my lifes testimony, talking about being a #survivor and #overcomer of #childhoodtrauma #physicalabuse #mentalabuse #emotionalabuse #homelessness #mentalhealth #churchhurt #marriage #divorce #stalking and sooo much more has been the root cause of the spiritual attacks on so many levels. Talking, revisitng, rethinking, reliving the memories has been triggering the process BUT its now a necessary one. I’m not only healing (and it hurts) but I am also revealing the perfect power of God. He kept me through it all. When you see me, you see Him and His power working within. The fact that I still smile, still hope, still love, still believe HAVE FORGIVEN ALL and…am still standing and here…thats His testimony in me. That’s Him. That’s my God. That’s the reason I have overcome. By the Blood of the Lamb #jesuschrist and by the Word of His testimony that He personally placed within me. TO OVERCOME.
