For those of you along the Pamlico, Pungo, and Neuse Rivers, pay attention to this storm.

Water levels rise on Sunday with constant onshore winds. Worst of it comes Sunday night. 2-4 ft up the Neuse and 3-6 ft up the Pamlico. Outer Banks and Crystal Coast also may see 2-4 ft of inundation both ocean and sound side.

And while I miss my family and friends in the Pacific Northwest, Eastern Carolina has become home.
