He was caught on camera at Walmart on March 24 stealing multiple air conditioning units and again at Lowe's on March 25, where he stole a Kobalt brand power tool.

The case numbers are 2023-003782 and 2023-004189, respectively.

MISSING PERSON: ROBIN LEIGH VICK, 47 YEARS OLD

Robin was reported missing on 3/15 by friends. She has not been heard from since January. Robin is homeless but resides in Greenville and has been known to frequent the area of Chestnut Street and Dickinson Avenue. She has a history of substance abuse and has been hospitalized in the past. A check of local hospitals thus far has been unsuccessful. Robin has blonde hair, green eyes, is 5’3” and approximately 83 pounds. She typically wears a toboggan. Robin has ties to the Wilson, Nash and Edgecombe County areas. ONE INJURED IN SHOOTING AT PARTY; GREENVILLE POLICE INVESTIGATING

GREENVILLE, NC -- At approximately 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2023, Greenville police responded to the intersection of Dickinson Avenue and Raleigh Avenue for the report of shots fired.

Once on scene officers discovered a 17-year-old female victim was shot in the hip. The victim was transported to ECU Health Medical Center and is expected to recover.

A preliminary investigation has revealed the shooting occurred at a party. Many of the attendees ran from the scene and officers have received little cooperation from witnesses.

Anyone with information is asked to call GPD, 252-329-4300 or Crime Stoppers 252-758-7777. Crime Stoppers has reward money available for information that leads to an arrest. Information can be provided anonymously.

RUNAWAY JUVENILE

Please be on the lookout for 12-year-old Jeremiah Lyons. Jeremiah has been diagnosed with dysregulation disorder. He was was reported to have run away this evening. He was last seen on foot in the area of 13th Street and Greene Street but has not yet returned home.

Jeremiah is 5’4” and weighs approximately 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing an orange bookbag and a black shirt.

Tayshon was located a short time ago by officers. He is safe. Thank you all!

RUNAWAY JUVENILE: Tayshon Tyree, 8 yo

Tayshon was reported missing overnight. Family members last saw him yesterday (2/18) around noon in the 1800 block of West Conley Street. Tayshon is a habitual runaway.

Officers located a friend who saw him playing yesterday evening and riding a Ripstik-style skateboard in the area of the Nash Street Gym. He was last seen wearing a black and gray hoodie, khaki jogger pants, and black and white Jordans.

RUNAWAY JUVENILE: Zhayla Gray, 13

Zhayla was reported missing overnight. She was last seen wearing a Nike shirt with a red black and gray logo, black leggings, light colored blue jean coat with gray hood, and white/gray/black high top Nike shoes. It is believed she may be with an individual who has connections to Wayne County. If located, call Greenville Police 252-329-4300.

UPDATE: ARRESTED!

Based on tips received by the Kinston Police Department, George Tyson was arrested shortly after midnight in Kinston. We’d like to thank the Kinston Police Department, the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office and the SBI Fugitive and Missing Person Task Force for assisting us with the arrest.

Tyson is in the Pitt County Detention Center under no bond. A booking photo is available through PCDC.

SUSPECT WANTED FOR FATAL STABBING

Greenville Police are actively searching for 35-year-old George Wesley Tyson III (pictured), of Greenville. Tyson is wanted for the January 6th murder of 34-year-old Broderick Harris.

On January 6, 2023, at approximately 11:30 a.m., Greenville police responded to ECU Health Medical Center in reference to an individual who was dropped off at the Emergency Department earlier that day with stab wounds. The victim, later identified as Harris, died at the hospital. At the time, little information was known about the incident or if it occurred within Greenville city limits.

Through their investigative efforts, detectives were able to determine the stabbing likely occurred during a dispute in the 1300 block of Ward Street in Greenville. They quickly developed Tyson as a suspect in the case.

Tyson should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call GPD Detective C. Dawson, 252-329-4300 or Crime Stoppers 252-758-7777. Crime Stoppers offers reward money for information that leads to an arrest. You can remain anonymous.

Mr. Cotton has turned himself into the Pitt County Detention Center. Thank you to all who shared!

WANTED:

Greenville Police officers are looking for 31-year-old Duane Cotton of Farmville.

Cotton is wanted for Felony Assault with a Deadly Weapon on a Government Official, Firearm by Felon, Felony Flee to Elude, Discharge Firearm in City Limits, Felony Possession of Schedule VI, Simple Possession of Schedule II, Misdemeanor Hit/Run Property Damage, Open Container, and Expired Registration (Case #2022-013931).

Cotton’s charges stem from a traffic stop with GPD officers on December 3, 2022, in the area of Memorial and Peed Drive. Cotton fled in his vehicle and then crashed into an apartment building on Peed Drive. After the crash, he ran away on foot and then fired rounds as officers were following him. No one was injured. Officers set up a perimeter in the area but were unable to locate him.

Cotton should be considered armed and dangerous. If you have information regarding his location you are asked to call GPD 252-329-4300 or Crime Stoppers (252) 758-7777. Crime Stoppers offers a reward for information that leads to an arrest.

MISSING PERSON: Khalil Ross Jefferson, 22

Jefferson was reported missing on 12/2 and still has not been located. He was last believed to be in the area of N. Warren and River Drive. Jefferson has a lean build, braids, and a tattoo on his right forearm. No clothing description is available.
