This what we have been covering this morning and wanted to share information from the GPD.

❗️Update 10:15 am - The suspect is accounted for and there is no ongoing threat to the public, schools, or the hospital. We will do a press release later this afternoon with more information on this incident.❗️

There is a large Greeley Police presence at the Greeley UC Health hospital located at 6767 West 29th Street.

This is reference a shooting that occurred early in the parking lot of the hospital. There have been rumors that this is/was an active shooter and that is not true.

Officers, Detectives, and other first responders are on scene and will be so for the foreseeable future; please avoid the area. Out of an abundance of caution, UC Health locked the hospital down but there is no active threat at the hospital.

We will update our social media as we get more information and will do a press release at the conclusion of the incident.
