We love making content for y'all. It's fun for us and fun for you. One of the perks of a digital platform is we can control the quality of the images you receive, limited only by the system you have. If you've held a copy of Warren Magazine in your hands, you know just how beautiful it is. The printers we use have two options for color printing. We opted for standard due to the price. The margin on a $20 100-page publication isn't great even for the standard color printing.

Last week we received a proof copy of Warren Magazine #1: Nautica from the printer using their premium color printing. the difference between standard and premium was night and day! Unfortunately, the price reflected this distinction. If we were to raise the price by $5, we would still make less than we currently make on the $20 standard print. But that's what we are doing for you.

We have decided to upgrade the quality of the product you - our Patreon backers - receive. Moving forward, all backers at the $10 Hero tier will receive a premium color copy of our magazine when it is released. Sure, we make a little less from these, but it's our way of thanking those who continue to support our efforts.

We are thrilled to announce that our Kickstarter campaign for Vertigo has ended with incredible success! Thanks to the invaluable support of our backers, we hit 156% of our goal, with a total of $784. This issue even brought us our first international fan from the Netherlands! We are excited to send our magazine across the pond!

What’s next?
We are now in editing mode, aiming to get the magazine finalized and sent off to the printers by the end of the month. While we are still recovering from the delays of the last issue and some health setbacks during this one, we are also hard at work on our next issue to ensure it goes out on schedule!

The Kickstarter campaign for Warren Magazine #3: Nocturne starts next week. This is our gothic horror issue, and it is going to be our best issue yet.

In response to popular demand, we have set up a Patreon account for those who wish to subscribe to our magazine. We are currently offering two tiers: Adventurer at $5 per month and Hero at $10 per month. If you support us for three months, you will receive the most recent issue. We are thrilled to announce that the last of the orders needed to fulfill the pledges came in this week, and all pledges have been sent out as of yesterday afternoon. We can't wait to hear what you think of the magazine and hope you will share it with your friends.

As you know, we were waiting to close the books on our first issue before starting the campaign for our second issue, Vertigo. Learning our processes for putting this together took much longer than expected, which delayed the release of Nautica and now Vertigo. However, we plan to launch our Kickstarter campaign for Vertigo next week, with a release date set for the end of July.

To get us back on our production schedule, the campaign for our third issue, Nocturne, will begin in July shortly after the Vertigo campaign ends. As the name suggests, Nocturne will be our gothic horror issue, and it is scheduled to release in September. We have one final issue for the year, releasing in December, centered around the winter festivities of our setting.

We are currently accepting submissions for the Nocturne issue through June 15th, 2024. If you're interested in becoming a contributor, please visit www.WarrenMagazine.com for more information. Published submissions are paid based on sales of the magazine, and contributors retain ownership of their content.

We have some exciting news to share—our print proofs for Warren Magazine's inaugural issue, Nautica, have been approved! We've made our final orders, and the books are coming. We anticipate receiving the printed copies between May 27 and June 3.

Once we have the books in hand, we'll need about a week to process, pack, and ship your rewards. This means you can expect to receive your copies of Nautica between June 7 and June 21. We're thrilled to finally get these into your hands and can't wait for you to dive into the adventures that await!

Nautica is ready! It took much longer than we thought it would, but our first issue is finally ready! We will send out the digital version this afternoon to all backers who have it coming to them. The physical magazine will be sent off to the printers today for approval, and the print-friendly version should be ready by Monday. Since we way overshot our estimated window, we are just going to send out the digital rewards as they are available instead of bundling them together for fulfillment. Almost all of the physical stuff is in hand, just waiting for the Legendary Me to arrive. We will keep you updated on that. The physical stuff will be delivered as a bundle.

We want to thank you all again for your patience during this adventure! Now that we have the process down and new templates in order, our future issues should be released in a much more timely manner. Dear Beloved Backers,

We want to extend our sincerest gratitude for your patience and unwavering support as we navigate the final stages of production.

We promised you an adventure beneath the waves, and boy, have we been diving deep to bring it to life! However, as with any great voyage, we've encountered a few unexpected currents along the way.

Firstly, we found ourselves swimming in a sea of assets! Our dedication to delivering an immersive experience led us to gather so much incredible content that we nearly doubled our intended page count. While this abundance of material is a testament to the richness of our project, it also presented a challenge. We want to ensure that the final product remains accessible to all, so we've had to navigate the waters of balancing content and cost.

Secondly, we faced a bit of a storm when importing our meticulously crafted content into our layout software. Some of the formatting got lost in translation, leaving us feeling a bit adrift. However, fear not! We've since hoisted our sails and charted a new course to ensure that every bold type, font size, and table is shipshape and ready to set sail.

Now, for the moment you've all been waiting for! We anticipate that Nautica Magazine will be ready to set sail in another 7-10 days. Once it's ready, we'll be diving right in to send out the digital version, with the physical copies not far behind as soon as they're approved by the printers.

But wait, there's even more excitement on the horizon! We're thrilled to announce that the Kickstarter campaign for Issue Two, "Vertigo," will now set sail on 4/16. We've decided to give ourselves a bit more time to prepare an even more spectacular campaign video featuring tantalizing assets from our upcoming issue. Trust us, it'll be worth the wait!
