It all began in 1993 when we first spotted a cement goose. It stood next to the front door of a charming little store in Indiana. We just had to have one! We brought our own little goose back home to Ohio and lovingly

named her Gertie. She was darling. With a little paint, we added eyelashes and rosy cheeks. She was irresistible! Next came the outfit; we made a bonnet and apron especially for her. Gertie became our official "greeter." A Business is Born
People began asking about Gertie: how could they get a goose for themselves? So back to Indiana we went with a list of people who wanted to add a goose to their families. We spruced up the cement geese with dabs of paint and created outfits for them. Our customers were thrilled! As months went by, more people learned about the geese and their custom-designed clothing. Orders boomed! After a while, we began to pour our own cement geese. In 1996, the Stuffed Goose Company was born! Hand-Made with Pride in America: The Best Selection of Goose Clothing!
