Cincinnati Animal CARE was shocked when a St. Bernard was dropped off on Friday, clinging to life.
The dog later died, and now Hamilton County’s dog warden is investigating and asking for help to figure out what happened.

Mother arrested for murder, accused of starving her 16 year old autistic son, causing his death.
Hamilton Co prosecutor's office tells me the boy was also allegedly chained to a cot in a utility room.
The boy died in February.

Visitors are encouraged to set up/watch the eclipse from the Bill Gillespie Soccer Park (922 Delaware Rd).
There will be food/food trucks at the Knights of Columbus hall next to the park.

Violent storms sent flash floods raging through Cincinnati neighborhoods on Tuesday. Now families are dealing with the aftermath, and what they believe is a lack of action by the city. One mother and her five kids lost pretty much everything they own.

The historic Kirker Bridge near West Union is destroyed.
It’s one of the few authentic covered bridges still left in Ohio & the country.
In talking to Adams County’s sheriff tonight, the damage here was one of the things he mentioned.
It was built in the 1860’s & listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.
It’s been open to pedestrians only for years.

Caylin Hunault's book 'Communication is More Than Words' was inspired by her son's bullying experience. The 6- year- old is nonverbal. She hopes it helps kids understand that people communicate in all kinds of ways.

Instead of getting angry a local mom got inspired, writing a book after her son's bullying experience. She says it was crushing when kids made fun of him because he wouldn't speak. He's nonverbal. She hopes the book teaches kids the different ways people can communicate.
