But now the question is… do you want a view, or do you want engagement? In my opinion, 500 views but many comments is better than 100,000 views and zero comments!

How you can get more engagement from your followers -

Post on your story! But don’t just post on there, add a poll, some music, or even a question box to really engage with your peeps.

Let’s talk about how you can elevate your social media in one day…

🍃 Be authentic. This may be an obvious tip, because everyone and their mother tells you to do this - but you have to be 100% yourself, or you can’t sell your product.

🍃 Be consistent but be mindful. That means if you are struggling to get post #5 out, don’t do it. A bad piece of content will completely change your audience’s outlook, and you’ll lose more people just posting a random photo, then taking the day off.

🍃 Use Pinterest. Just do it - and if you need help - my team’s got your back.

A little fun fact about me - give me fun game, a jumpy house, a slide, a trampoline or a baby activity board, and I’m good to go to hang out with the kiddos.

As we dive into another week, I can’t help but reflect on the past week. I onboarded new clients, and went through a pretty intense time in my life. So I’m taking this day, Monday, January 29th as a day to reset, live my life to the fullest, and be my best self. The best mother, the best wife, the best friend, the best entrepreneur, & of course the best for myself.

We all go through it at one point in our lives, so I’m here to just say that it’s OK to go through tough times. It’s OK to pause a little and reflect on your life and what you want. As long as you get up, get moving, and see the positive future - that’s all that matters.

I can’t wait to meet with my consults this week to make social media dreams come true.

In lieu of the new year, we have to debunk some myths about social media management / outsourcing - because we want you to be well informed and ready to take action when you either rebrand or re strategize.

MYTH #1 - You’re losing your job. No, you’re making time to do everything else in your business!

MYTH #2- Outsourcing compromises quality… that’s definitely not true! But make sure you’re working with a social media manager that is on the same page with you, so communication and expectations are laid out.

MYTH #3 - You lose control. This is a negative way to look at it… because even though someone is managing your accounts, at The 530 & Co. is dedicated in collaborating, rather than taking over the entire operation!

MYTH #4- Only large corporations can benefit from outsourcing - no way Jose! As a small business owner, you need to be able to focus on one thing at a time. I think outsourcing benefits small businesses MORE.

Overall, outsourcing is so important. Whether it’s ongoing or month to month, make sure you take Shante of the resources when you’re able to. But, make sure you’re on the same page with your manager and ensure that you see eye to eye.

My recent clients who just onboarded, know o am an over communicator and will always collaborate with work! It’s the way I enjoy doing what I do.

Let’s talk about making T I M E for your family, and for yourself, because during this season, it’s the most important thing in the world.

Did you know I outsource for my own social media, blogging, Pinterest work, email marketing, etc? Because my business to help OTHERS with their social media… not to focus on my own! (Unless there’s time)

My point is, don’t be afraid to outsource and to invest in your business in this way. Whether you need content created, or some organized calendars, your social media manager will help.

When it comes to creating content, managing social media, creating websites that are user friendly, etc. I take my time.

A few years ago, I took on way too much. I wasn’t efficient, nor did I feel creative - and that’s when I took a turn with my business. Whether you’re in the wedding industry, or a small business looking to grow… my biggest advice is to slow down, figure out your niche, and work towards a goal.
