We learned the owner of Redding's Kent's Meats and Groceries, Kent Pfrimmer, passed away on September 16 at the age of 82.
For the past 48 years, he's owned and operated Kent's Meats and Groceries on Airport Road in Redding.

CAL FIRE/Butte County Battalion Chief Jordan Hale says crews are making good progress and all resources at Chico Scrap Metal will be here for the next 2-4 hours. Crews will be monitoring the fire overnight.
