So excited, we have tons of fun every year! ☺️

Kite Day is Sunday, March 19th! 🪁

Don’t miss this fun and free community event from 12–4 PM at 20th Street Community Park. Local radio station 92.7 Bob FM will be playing music throughout the afternoon alongside activities like face painting, bounce houses, and more! We’ll have complimentary kites for the first 100 kids, and Bird in Hand will have free commemorative buttons.

Our friends from the Gateway Science Museum, California State University, Chico will be teaching how winds are generated to fly a kite with a hands-on experiment about clouds, and Chico Children's Museum will be there too! CARD will have information booths on youth and adult programming, more special events, and current park improvement projects.

For a special treat, come sing “Chim Chim Cheree” with Mary Poppins and Bert from from 1–3 for a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious time!

Several popular Fork In The Road food trucks will be on hand with some delicious grub.

Hiya Bobbers, just a heads up that we're on low power backup due to a generator outage at the transmitter site.

We're in the process of sending a team to look at it, but regardless we should be back to full strength at latest when power's restored to the site (estimated 10pm at the moment).
