POW WOW an international tourism destination event that showcases the best places in the world to travel! Representatives from the Llano Estacado were able to attend as well as host travel writers who made plans to visit our state. Such fun!!!

German people LOVE TEXAS … and TEXAS loves German people. Pictured here are the dignitaries from Bad Segeberg who came to visit our territory. We offered a trip to the Llano Estacado for the 100,000th visitor to the Karl May Spiele and got the change to promote Texas to 5 different cities in Germany!! It was a blast .

One of our most memorial trips was when KLUV Radio held a promotion to VISIT LUBBOCK with Ron and Nancy Chapman. We saw the Buddy Holly Center, the Mean Woman Grill, the Guitar Ranch and earned $20,000 of free radio in Dallas. Thanks, Ron Chapmen, a forever memory!!

This was CarpetTech yesterday. I had the privilege of leading a CREATIVITY WORKSHOP all day yesterday. Wow!!!!

Texas Fun Club - LIVE IT UP!

I need several things to live the life I want! Outside of the “basics” (like where to get my hair fixed and nails done), I need an easy way to find FUN THINGS TO DO and a sense of PLACE ... knowing enough to feel a part of the community where I live!

I live in Austin ... and there’s plenty to do. In fact, in so many calendars, there are hundreds of listings of music and bands and everything on 6th Street and I can hardly find the things I’m wanting: festivals, art, cheese and wine tastings, interesting food trucks, pop up shops and occasions that suit me!

SO I SOLVED THAT - AUSTIN IN AUGUST I created the Texas Fun Club and -- starting with Austin in August -- began designing a calendar that is CURATED just for us: the BEST of AUSTIN, not the rest of Austin!

LUBBOCK IN NOVEMBER! Why Lubbock? Why not Lubbock? I love Lubbock and my dreams came true in Lubbock! Lew and Diana on Stars 104.3 invited me to be the FUN LADY back when I started the Lubbock Fun Cub and Diana and I have remained friends since then. She’s bringing her EYE for DETAIL AND TRENDS to the Texas Fun Club with the LAUNCH of TRENDwatch! So we’re glad to be working together again!
