Made In Africa (Nigeria) by .
For more than 11 years, Adetokunbo Ogundeyin has silently pioneered Nigeria’s armoured vehicles industry. He has been using his company, ProforceDefence Limited, to manufacture high-tech armoured vehicles and body armour to help combat insecurity in the country. His products are not only considered good enough for use by government agencies, financial institutions, corporate organizations and diplomatic missions in Nigeria, they are also good enough for export to other African countries, thereby signaling the country’s emergence as a security powerhouse on the continent.

Proforce's security car collection includes
Armoured personnel carriers (APCs)
Armoured tanks
Armoured SUVs
Armoured cash-in-transit vehicles (CITs)
Tactical armoured vehicles (TAVs)
Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV-drones)
Armoured saloons and sedans
Bulletproof helmets and vests

What we had before 1982:

Cameroon had the first airline of Africa, CAMAIR,
A shipping company CAMSHIP,
A railway transport company REGIFERCAM, the companies SODECAO and SODECOTON for cocoa and cotton,
SNH for hydrocarbons,
SNI for investments,
SNEC for water,
SONEL for electricity, FONADER, FOGAPE, MIDEVIV, and other agricultural banks.
Cameroon was self - sufficient in food and supplied Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, CAR, Chad, Ethiopia, Rwanda, China, India ...
All Cameroonian students benefitted from scholarships.
Hospitals were free.
Cameroon is the first African country to build social housing called "Camps SIC"
AHIDJO built not only the congress hall (Palais the congrès), but also the new presidential palace(Unity Palace) and the largest television in sub-Saharan Africa CTV(present day CRTV).
Peace was real.
The list is endless.

What we have today:

99% of the companies that made the pride of Cameroon were sold.

Unemployment and the misery of young people is on the rise by the day.
The cities are dirty and smelling.
drinkable water is yellow.
Rare electricity.
The anglophone crisis and social demands (linked together).
Cameroonians live in fear and not in peace.

The Mangbetu tribe in the Democratic Republic of Congo practiced head elongation as a symbol of majesty, beauty, power and higher intelligence.

At just 6months after birth, babies' heads were deformed though binding with straps for a couple of years to produce the desired shape.

Was also common in ancient Kemet (Egypt) and Kush (Nubia aka Sudan)

JOHN AMANAM is a Nigerian prosthetics artist.

Many years back, John's brother was involved in an accident that costed him his limb. This is what stirred John into the creation of hyper realistic prosthetics. Through this art, he gives amputees the feeling of having their lost body parts intact.

He currently runs a prosthetic company called Immortal Cosmetic Art.

Meet Roland Fomundam, the man who left the US to practice farming in Africa.

A year or two back, he shared a story of his journey to success, starting off as a bushfaller pursuing a course in the medical field in the US... a course which upon completion, did not leave him as satisfied, but some what confused on which part to take next.

Fast forward... He decided to leave the US for Cameroon because he realised we had more opportunities here, especially in the agricultural domain.

Back in Cameroon, he was looked upon by others as an unserious person ( who leaves the US, almost everyone's dream country to come and settle in Cameroon?), some even labelled he had been repatriated. But well, that did not border him for he knew exactly what his goals were.

He owned a mini night club his village with the name GREEN HOUSE CLUB, and a Cyber Café with similar name.

Years later, we had the creation of GreenHouse Ventures .

At its birth, he had to work on how to market his key product, the bell pepper in Cameroon. Most Supermarkets/vendors depended on imported alternatives and being of foreign origin, they wouldn't just accept his proposal. But then, he stayed consistent and made sure he beat his competitors with favourable, more affordable prices for a more organic product.

That is how He started supplying his product to some of these vendors. He now supplies to other countries in Sub Saharan Africa.

It is worth noting that GREEN HOUSE VENTURES today has a school where students are trained in sustainable agriculture. They also work in partnership with several tertiary educational institutions around the country.

Below are a few pictures of what they do.

Most bushfallers really desire to invest hugely (open industries and factories) in their home countries. However, they fear so many things, some of which include breach of trust, absence of competent/skilled persons to manage their activities, the risks linked to remote managing, etc.

This is what makes bushfallers prefer the construction of estates for rent because it requires minimum supervision once construction work is completed.

In your opinion, what are some of those things that stop bushfallers from investing home?

He does this solo, with no subvention. Imagine a scenario where a genius as him is motivated and kept under perfect working conditions with the right equipment, resources and all, what is lamburgini that he will not produce?.
