Vegan Disney World Reviews of Plant-based Disney options and lists of vegan options available on our website.

If you've gone to Disney World as a vegan you know how accommodating the parks can be. We're here to help people plan their vacations and let them know that there will be more then just salads for dinner! Let us know if you've found a new item in the parks, tell us your experiences and let's share our knowledge with each other. We post about all four parks in Walt Disney World, (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom) Walt Disney World Resorts, and Downtown Disney.

Have you had these Korean Barbecue Mushroom Bao Buns yet? You can find these at both the Nomad Lounge and Tiffins Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. 😋

These bao buns are a great light snack or start to your meal. Bite into a soft bao bun filled with oyster mushrooms, cucumber kimchi, and pickled green papaya. These are flavorful and a fun option to try. 🌱

Yesterday I was working on our YouTube video for next week and mentioned this option over at Pinocchio’s Village Haus in Magic Kingdom. This is the Plant-based “Cheese” Pizza that you can find here. This pizza comes on a soft pita as a crust and is loaded with vegan cheese and sauce.

In the video I was talking about how I actually prefer the gluten free crust here over the standard one. The gluten free crust is a larger portion for starters, but the cauliflower crust holds up better and is firmer than the pita they use for the standard one.

This pizza is about as good as you’d think it would be. It’s not amazing, but it does hit the spot! I do wish they had some sort of topping for it though. Have you had both, if so which of the two do you prefer? 🍕

It’s officially Halloween season at Walt Disney World! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has begun select nights at Magic Kingdom. 🎃

During the party you will need to head to a designated location to obtain a teal allergy bag, which can be found on a park map for the event. Once you have your bag head to the various trick or treat locations to get a token. Once you have a few tokens you can head back to the allergy location where you will swap your tokens for allergy friendly options. You can choose which items you want, and they always have non food options as well. 🍬

You can also grab this super cute Mickey popcorn bucket for munching on while enjoying the party. 🍿

I haven’t been able to personally confirm yet, however, the DOLE Whip Mango and Chamoy Float at Aloha Isle should be vegan. This will be the only additional option available. According to online sources it says it is available all day and not just during the party. Be sure to check the ingredients to confirm until I have done that as well. Chamoy is typically vegan so I have a hard time believing this wouldn’t be a plant based option. 🥭

Are you heading to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year? Be sure to check out those hitchhiking ghosts in Frontierland!

Thank you to and for these photos. 👻

I’m still thinking about these delicious little Chocolate Mousse guys at Tusker House. This character buffet at Animal Kingdom has some delicious options, but the dessert here was so good! 🍫

These little plant-based chocolate mousse domes were super creamy and tasted like fudge. They were bite size and I probably would have eaten the whole platter of them if it wasn’t frowned upon. How many do you think you could eat?

If you like onion then you ✨need✨ to try these! Over at Steakhouse 71 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort you can find the Steakhouse 71 Onion Rings.

These can be ordered during lunch and dinner, as well as at the bar. These are hand breaded vegan onion rings served with a spicy “ranch” dressing to dip them in. These are one of my absolute favorite appetizers at Walt Disney World. 🧅

One of my favorite places to grab a bite to eat at Disney Springs is at City Works. You can usually get a walk up here, plus there is a large bar for seating both indoor and out.

This is the Kung Pao Cauliflower which is on the “to share” section of the menu, though you won’t want to! The roasted cauliflower is covered in a delicious Kung Pao sauce. There are crunchy peanuts and spicy peppers to avoid while eating too. This option is vegan as is.

To see all the other vegan options at City Works head to the ‘Disney Springs’ section on our website.

If you’re on the hunt for a Beyond Burger rather than an Impossible then you should stop by D-Luxe Burger at Disney Springs. This is the Plant-Based Burger which offers a Beyond Meat patty topped with vegan cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickle.

This burger is a great quick option and very tasty. The toppings are simple but enjoyable. Plus the fries they have here are some of the best at Walt Disney World. This is a great meal during a Disney Springs day. 🍔

There’s a new kids option offered at Tiffins in Animal Kingdom, which you can also order at Nomad Lounge! They replaced the previous option with new Korean Impossible Meatballs. With this change also means we can get the Poke Bowl at Nomad Lounge again with a protein!

The Poke Bowl is supposed to come with tuna, however, you can swap that for the new Impossible Meatballs. This was a great addition and I suggest asking for some extra sauce for them to add to your bowl.

The new Korean Impossible Meatballs offer a similar flavor as the Impossible Gatsby at Kusafiri, but with the same sweet sauce as the Bao Buns here. I recommend giving it a try! 😋

If you’re staying at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campgrounds I suggest planning your own breakfast in your cabin or your campsite. But if you really want to get something you didn’t bring, you can get this Harvest Platter from Trail’s End Restaurant, which is now a quick service location.

This breakfast platter has vegan egg scramble, allergy Mickey waffles, potato barrels, jackfruit, and an allergy friendly roll. In all honesty most of this platter is good, but I truly have no idea what they’re doing with this jackfruit. It was so weird in flavor and texture. Everything else is enjoyable, but be sure to ask for some vegan butter for your roll.

It’s not my first pick for breakfast, but if you’re staying here then it’s an option. 🤠

A new summer crepe has made its way to Universal Studios Florida. This delicious new Lemon Blueberry Crepe can be found at Central Park Crepes, which is near Mel’s Drive-In. 🫐🍋

This crepe is made with a blueberry crepe and filled with lemon pound cake, lemon curd, vegan whipped topping, and blueberries. It offers the perfect sweet and slightly tart flavor combo that goes great in the heat. I highly recommend this one while it’s here! 😋

Big kid and little kid vegan meals at Hollywood Studios! These are the Teriyaki Tofu Bowls from Backlot Express, which come in an adult portion and a kids portion. 🌱

It’s hard finding vegan kids meals on menus anywhere, as often they’re just Uncrustables if they do have them. Which doesn’t work when your vegan kid is allergic to peanuts. So finding a legit kids option is so exciting for us!

The teriyaki tofu bowl is the same for both portions, just different sizes. It comes with jasmine rice, marinated tofu, edamame, carrots, cucumber, and onions, and is drizzled (though mine wasn’t for some reason) with a lemon-tahini-chipotle vinaigrette. It’s a tasty option and I love to see the use of tofu! 🍚

Popcorn is the ultimate park snack. Easy to snack on throughout the day, salty, crunchy, perfect. All of the fresh popped ‘butter flavor’ popcorn and the maple popcorn in EPCOT is vegan!

I highly recommend grabbing a refillable bucket so you can munch all day and put a lid on between snacking. Plus it’s the perfect late night back in your room treat. Are you team popcorn or pretzel? 🍿🥨

Start your day off right with some Avocado Toast from Steakhouse 71! This toast has a creamy avocado spread and an onion jam on sourdough. It’s a light and flavorful option to enjoy, and it comes with breakfast potatoes. 😋

You can find Steakhouse 71 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. I highly recommend having a reservation in place to head here, but you may be able to get a walk up as well. 🥑

Did you know that you can get an off menu vegan chick’n sandwich at Homecomin’? This Disney Springs restaurant has secret vegan tenders that are available if you ask for them.

You can get them with a sandwich and toppings of your choice, or you can sub them with a salad as well. They use Morningstar Tenders that are thick, crispy, and delicious. I asked for a side of hot sauce with my sandwich to use as a sauce.

Several of their sides are vegan too, so be sure to ask what all are. I went with the kale and collards for mine. 🌱

If you’ve ever wondered if there are vegan food options while doing the Wild Africa Trek tour at Disney’s Animal Kingdom then wonder no more. As long as you contact them ahead of time they can accommodate to whatever your needs are, whether it’s plant based or allergy.

I did this tour in 2015 and they accommodated us then, so I’m so happy to see they still have a great option in 2024 as my friend Sarah just did this. This is an additional charge tour that does require booking ahead. You get to enjoy a snack out on the Savannah and you’ll be able to enjoy a variety of food in your own lunch tin. 🦒

Have you had the Plant-based Chicago-Style Dog from Casey’s Corner in Magic Kingdom? This seems to be a pretty polarizing option that replaced the beloved Slaw Dog last year.

This dog is actually a Beyond Sausage topped with diced tomatoes, onions, and peppers, relish, and yellow mustard. I have only had this one, which when I got it I had the gluten free version while doing a GF/Vegan video with and I have had absolutely no desire to get this again. How do you feel about this meal? 🌭

If you’re looking for a breakfast pastry, or a little treat later in the day, check out Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in Norway in EPCOT. The Kringla here comes with a chocolate drizzle or with almonds.

These pastries are in the shape of a pretzel and have raisins in them. They’re a great little sweet treat that isn’t too sweet and goes great with coffee.

🚨 They have been having supply issues with the drizzles so be sure to ask to see the allergy binder to confirm the Kringla you want is vegan when ordering. They have taken the plant-based logo on this item because of the inconsistencies. 🚨

If you’re on the hunt for a tasty tofu dish at Walt Disney World then I have one here for you! This is a modified dish at the Grand Floridian Cafe at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.

This option is available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The on menu entree is the Miso-Glazed Salmon, but instead of the salmon you can get it with tofu! The Miso-Glaze has a nice sesame and miso flavor with some sweetness and is a wonderful thick sauce for it.

The presentation on this dish changes based on the chef, but the flavors are always there. 🤗

Did you know that you can still enjoy the Plant-based Coconut Tres Leches at EPCOT even though the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is over? Stop by Festival Favorites at the new CommuniCore Hall and grab one!

This cake offers a nice light sweetness with a creamy wet cake. The coconut on top adds a great little crunch to it as well. If you missed it during the spring festival be sure to grab it now while you still can! 🧁

These pretzels are vegan and can be found all over Walt Disney World at kiosks and sometimes counter service locations. So be sure to grab one without cheese and get a few packets of mustard to enjoy with it. 🥨

Another one bites the dust. Friars Nook appears to have removed the Plant-Based Sausage from their menu at this Magic Kingdom quick service. I hope they replace it with something else vegan, but it currently doesn’t look like that will be the case with the addition of the beignets. 😩

Enjoy some toasted ciabatta loaded with fresh tomatoes and a balsamic glaze at Trattoria al Forno at Disney’s BoardWalk. This vegan Tomato Bruschetta appetizer comes with two very large slices of toasted bread loaded with different types of tomatoes. 🍅

This is a delicious start to an absolutely stunning meal. Trattoria al Forno is easy to get to during an EPCOT or Hollywood Studios day, or spend the evening at the BoardWalk on an off day and add this restaurant to your itinerary! ✨
