President Kiir And the Ministry of Petroleum Have Appointed The Former Trade and Industry undersecretary, Dominic Majok Makuer as the New Vice President of DPOC , A Petroleum Company in South Sudan

President Kiir sacked Dominic Majok from the Position of undersecretary in the Ministry of Trade and Industry on 10th September after 21 Days of his Appointment and Replaced him with Hon. Malok Ngor Malok as the new undersecretary in the National Ministry of Trade and Industry.

Eng.Dominic Majok is an Engineer by Profession And a SSPDF/SPLA. Soldier who has been in service for more than 25 years serving his country , in September, A lot of People especially the Agaar sons and Daughters were furious And Disappointed with the Embarrassment caused to Majok by the Appointment Authorities that are running j~1 , Today he has been Rewarded with a post which he deserves to serve in , A Vice President who will bring a wide Experience to the Company and Oil Sector of South Sudan

Santino Matiok was appointed on last Friday after the sacking of Madit Malek.

The official process of getting Starlink internet kit in South Sudan for individuals.

Step 1: Order Your Starlink Device (Online):
✍🏿 Visit the Starlink website: https://www.starlink.com/
✍🏿 Enter your details and South Sudan address during checkout.
✍🏿 Choose your preferred device:
▪️ Standard Kit: $374 (includes first month of service)
▪️ Starlink Mini: $224 (includes first month of service)
✍🏿 Pay with a valid Visa or Mastercard.

Step 2: Wait for Shipment (3-4 weeks):

▪️ You will receive a tracking number from DHL for your Starlink device shipment.

Step 3: DHL Clearance (Nearest DHL Office):

▪️ Once your device arrives in South Sudan, go to DHL office
▪️ Visit the DHL office and complete a form with your personal information and device details.

Step 4: Obtain Letter of No Objection (NCA) - FREE:

▪️ Important: Currently, the process requires obtaining a "letter of no objection" from the National Communications Authority (NCA).
▪️ Visit the NCA office in [NCA Office Location in South Sudan] and submit a request for a letter of no objection for your Starlink device. Carry a copy of ID and the Invoice from the Starlink

Step 5: Collect Your Starlink Device (DHL):

▪️ Once you have the letter of no objection from the NCA, return to the DHL office to collect your Starlink device.
▪️ There should be no additional cost for collection.

Note: After installation and activation process, Starlink will charge monthly subscription fee of $50 for the Standard Kit and $30 for the Mini Kit.

It’s also worth noting that NCA is working to streamline and make life easier by making the availability of the ‘Letter of no Objection’ at the port of entry instead of going all the way to NCA offices in Gumbo (Shirkat). In South Sudan’s case, the collection point (DHL) is the port of entry. NCA says this will be implemented soon.
