Attention!!
As we kept on blaming why our music isn't in the international scene,can we stop blaming artists for a minute
Look at the country,s population
A bigger number is not exposed to modern music and therefore even if your song is played on MTV etc ,you can't get even a single vote from your country here coz votes too matters
A bigger number wants to listen to traditional music and so that's where they belong .
Let's fight slowly to eductate them and bring them to our type of music ,for the few that are listening today to us ,it wasn't easy when I introduced this kind of genre to our country with the song Binia Juba if you can remember (Coz it was the biggest hit ever produced by a local artist),many artists were still fans by then.
I was termed a n***a and chased out of stages by even fellow artists who does traditional music ,but slowly they adopted to it when many artists joined
It even became worst with Dugu wara ,they start pointing fingers that my type of music isn't fit for this society 😂
Let's be real
Music is how fast you can get your listeners' attention
How they can debate and etc
Iam into this game as a bussiness person and what gain me popularity is what I do .
You can't be an artist only known by your village people
