Revv Evolution:Motoring - Zeekr officially launches in Singapore with the Zeekr - By Revv Evolution
Revv was in attendance for the launch of Zeekr, a global electric mobility technology brand, which introduced the first in it’s Singapore line-up, the Zeekr X, a premium compact SUV. The Zeekr X uses the brand’s proprietary state-of-the-art electric motor and battery technology to deliver an ideal balance of long-range, high efficiency, and excellent performance. All models hold a 66kWh lithium-ion battery, which can deliver up to 440km of range (WLTC) in the single motor, rear-wheel drive Standard Model. Revv Evolution:Lifestyle - The Great Wheelers Grillout 2024, at Wheelers Tropikana - By Revv Evolution
It’s been a minute (awhile ), since we attended or had a good old fashioned BBQ or grillout, so we were delighted when the good people at Wheelers Tropikana reached out and invited us to a hearty meal. Located in probably one of my most favourite locations, Gillman Barracks, as i simply love the ambience and feel of the buildings and of course the ample parking s**ce which you simply cant find, especially on a weekend and around dinner time. The Media Tasting Menu that we were served had evertthing from Smoked Pork Ribs, Smoked Brisket, BBQ’d Hull-Hull Chicken, Pulled Prk Tacos, Hot Honey Soy Garlic Wings, Cold Truffle Capellini and Potato Salad, are you guys hungry yet? On top of the awesome spread, the place was filled with music provided by a few live bands, attentive staff and just an overall nice evening breeze that was blowing into the establishment. We had a great time, totally full and contented with our visit to Wheelers Tropikana.

We had a great time managing and hosting, from what i what i was told, was Singapore’s first Bluey Birthday themed party which was held at Bailey & Whisky. It was a pleasure working with my client whose daughter is a huge Bluey fan, and we had a great time entertaining the kids, who were having a ball of a time! . With the help of my tag team hosts, Juliana Ong and Adi, who really impressed me with their skills at keeping the kids entertained, our clients couldn't be happier with a job well done. Revv attended the launch of the all new MINI range of both combustion engines as well as EV’s, at Holland Village. Now, MINI is presenting two of its most important models – the all-new MINI Cooper and all-new MINI Countryman. The two models will be available with all-electric drivetrains – a first for the MINI Countryman – as well innovative and efficient petrol engines. Revv Evolution: Motoring - Tesla Cybertruck - By Revv Evolution
I was up in JB ( Johor Bahru) yesterday at the SouthKey Mall, and Tesla was by chance having their roadshow , showcasing a few of their models, and yes , the Cybertruck, which i was told was making it’s way to our shores very soon. Looking like something out of a Batman movie, the Cybertruck really commanded a presence, and it wasnt’t even moving! There has been a lot of hype about the Cybertruck and it’s capabilities, and it was indeed a pleasure to actually see it “in the flesh”. Rabbit HQ, after a 6 year absence , kicked off it’s much anticipated National Rabbit Contest 2024 at Marina Bay Sands. It was a pleasure getting on the mic again and hosting this show filled with eager “mums and dads”, who were so proud to showcase their much beloved bunnies. From the Holland Lop , Netherland Dwarf to the Flemish Giant, the applause and anticipation when they got on the judge’s table was amazing to see. Jeremy Collins, a very much experienced judge was flown in all the way from Arizona, USA , for this event. Being an avid bunnie owner myself, it really was an experience that i was so happy to be a part of. Thanks to RHQ ( Rabbit HQ ),for having me. It was indeed an honor and privilege to be invited by The Ambassador of Italy to Singapore and Brunei, His Excellency, Dante Brandi , on the occasion of Italy’s 78th National Day, at the Pan Pacific Singapore. The occasion was graced by hundreds of VIP’s and guests who were treated to some excellent entertainment and gastronomical delights . The party atmosphere was indeed a fitting tribute in celebrating this very special day. Buona festa della Repubblica!

Got my IU replaced.
Call it luck or whatever, but my IU suddenly died on me yesterday. And getting around without an IU is one’s worst nightmare, especially when you need it to get around .
I had a choice of either paying $100 plus to get my IU replaced to the current model that we all use, or get the new OBU, which i have been hearing so much bad press about from people on Social Media and media publications ( i won’t mention names, jumping on the bandwagon}. I got mine installed at VICOM Changi, managed to be the first in the queue, the guys were really helpful, asking me my preferred installation location and did a run through after the installation was done. I got my unit fixed in under 2 hours ( they informed me that it would take 2 to 3hrs). Overall it was a plesant experience, and the OBU for what it was made for, i have no complains. All the bad press and complains that i have been hearing about , well i guess, for me personally was alot of hot air and really blowing this whole issue of the OBU out of porportion, from its size, to how to access the Cashcard and more. I guess with more advancements , like online cashcard top ups, like how Malaysia’s TNG card works , we can expect a better experience, till then i think we should find more constructive things to complain about. Revv attended the launch on GAC AION Plus, with Vincar EV Singapore being the exclusive distributor of yet another China made EV brand that joins the ever growing list list of EV brands that are dominating not only Singapore, but the global market as well. Under Singapore’s CAT A category, this car features a front axle-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor with maximum power output of 100 kW (134 hp) and 225 Nm of torque with a range of up to 563 kilometres (WLTP). Meals-on-Wheels is a meal delivery programme to meet the daily needs of the home-bound elderly. The elderly, who usually live alone, depend on volunteers from TOUCH Home Care's Meals-on-Wheels to deliver their meals every day. Revv was pleased to be able to assist in helping deliver dinner to these folks. Cycle & Carriage and smart Automobile officially unveiled the smart #1 Pro+ and the smart #1 BRABUS for the first time in Singapore today during a media event at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore. At the signing ceremony, members of the media were also privileged to get a first look at the smart #1 BRABUS, smart’s collaboration with world-renowned global luxury mobility brand BRABUS. Revv Evolution: Motoring - Revv attends BYD x Charge Point Operator Partnerships signing event
BYD today announced a ground breaking partnerships with Charge+, ComfortDelGro ENGIE, Shell Singapore, SP Group and Volt Singapore. These collaborations between BYD and each Charge Point Operator (CPO) aim to provide attractive benefits to BYD retail passenger vehicle owners in Singapore through discounted electric vehicle charging rates.Additionally, both existing and new BYD retail passenger vehicle owners will get to enjoy a 5% discount from Volt’s charging facilities. This entitles new BYD retail passenger vehicle owners with cars registered in 2024 to enjoy two sets of discounts:

• 20% discount from one of the four CPOs: Charge+, ComfortDelGro ENGIE, Shell Singapore and SP Group

• 5% discount from Volt’s charging network

A host of other benefits were also released at the Media event.
