How to unlock your creativity?

Becoming more creative involves a combination of developing your imagination and enhancing your problem-solving skills. Here are some tips to help you become more creative:

Practice brainstorming: Start by setting a goal or problem that you would like to solve. Then, take some time to brainstorm ideas without filtering them out. Allow yourself to think freely and generate as many ideas as possible.

Engage in activities that inspire you: Engage in activities that you find inspiring, such as reading, writing, painting, listening to music, or watching films. These activities can help you explore new ideas and develop your imagination.

Observe the world around you: Pay attention to the world around you and take note of interesting patterns, textures, colors, and shapes. This can help you develop your visual imagination.

Try new things: Step out of your comfort zone and try new things. This could be something as simple as trying a new food or taking a different route to work. Trying new things can help you develop your problem-solving skills and develop new ideas.

Take breaks: It's important to take breaks and allow your mind to rest. When you take a break, engage in activities that help you relax and unwind, such as meditation, exercise, or spending time in nature.

Collaborate with others: Collaborating with others can help you generate new ideas and see things from a different perspective. Seek out other creatives and work on projects together.

Remember that creativity is a process, and it takes time and practice to develop. Keep an open mind and embrace new ideas, and you'll be on your way to becoming more creative.

One of the most important metrics in ads is CTR. And that’s why 👇🏻

Click-through rate (CTR) is the percentage of people who click on a link or advertisement, divided by the number of people who viewed it. Conversion rate, on the other hand, is the percentage of people who take a desired action on a website or landing page, such as making a purchase, filling out a form, or subscribing to a newsletter.

CTR can impact conversion rate in a few different ways:

1. Quality of traffic: A higher CTR can indicate that the traffic coming to your website is more targeted and engaged, which can increase the likelihood of conversion.

2. Relevance of messaging: A higher CTR can also indicate that your messaging is more relevant and appealing to your target audience, which can lead to a higher conversion rate.

3. Testing and optimization: By testing different ad copy, images, and targeting options to improve your CTR, you can also improve your conversion rate over time.

However, it's important to note that while a higher CTR can be a positive sign, it's not always a guarantee of higher conversion rates. For example, if you're getting a lot of clicks from people who aren't actually interested in your product or service, your conversion rate may not improve even with a high CTR. Ultimately, it's important to focus on both CTR and conversion rate in order to create effective and successful marketing campaigns.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a rapidly evolving field with the potential to transform many aspects of society. Here are some ways AI could change the world:

Automation of jobs: AI-powered robots and machines could automate many jobs currently done by humans, leading to increased efficiency and productivity. This could also result in job displacement and require workers to acquire new skills to remain employable.

Personalized healthcare: AI could be used to analyze large amounts of medical data to identify patterns and improve diagnoses and treatment plans. This could lead to more personalized and effective healthcare.

Improved education: AI-powered tools could personalize education for individual students, providing customized lesson plans and adaptive learning experiences that cater to the strengths and weaknesses of each student.

Autonomous transportation: Self-driving cars and other autonomous vehicles could improve safety and reduce traffic congestion, while also freeing up time for drivers to focus on other activities.

Enhanced cybersecurity: AI could be used to identify and mitigate cyber threats more effectively, protecting individuals and organizations from cyber attacks.

Climate change mitigation: AI could be used to analyze climate data and develop more effective strategies for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and mitigating the effects of climate change.

Enhanced scientific research: AI could accelerate scientific discovery by analyzing large amounts of data, modeling complex systems, and identifying patterns and insights that might be difficult for humans to detect.

These are just a few examples of how AI could change the world. However, as with any new technology, there are also potential risks and challenges that must be addressed to ensure that AI is used in a responsible and ethical manner.

By the way, picture is created by Midjourney 🥲
See how the creative world can change in the nearest future 🤷‍♀️

How to read your competitors?

Online gives you lots of instruments to understand what your competitors do in terms of traffic and ads. We talk about 2 main blocks:

1. Website analysis - there are plenty of programs that help to read traffic and sources of it (such as PR-CY.io, as an example).
2. Facebook Library - see what your competitors do in FB/IG - creatives, where the traffic goes, approximate budget.

You are not born a blogger🥲 you become a blogger 😏

Although today's children are born already with a phone in their hand 🥹

How to become a blogger? A blogger is a mix of SMM-manager and PR-manager rolled into one. To become a real blogger, follow these rules:

1. Content - it’s a must! Look for trends, create trends. Creation and experiments. Experiment with formats - static, video, short videos, longreads.

2. Collaborations - always say YES to collaborations. Especially in the beginning, take all the barter integrations, try, communicate, go to blogging parties.

3. Monitor your analytics - analyze content, change it based on the data you receive.

And also blogging is:

1. 5 years off work (real blogging is a full time job).
2. $50k yearly spend for all sorts of things - clothing, locations, maybe some helpers etc.
3. New friends, because all the old ones will not accept you and will discredit you in every possible way 🤣🥹

If you want to be successful in business and continue developing your project, you need to know that the success formula: marketing + sales + product = short&long term growth.

If you have an amazing product and good sales team but not enough leads + not working on your brand awareness, there is no way you will grow. You will probably continue holding your current customers but the acquisition problem will stay.

If you have good marketing and good product but sales team is not able to convert leads into sales you are stuck.

If marketing and sales are working great but your product is not good enough you wont be able to hold your customers for a long time. And LTV will be low.

So all three parts are crucial to be successful 😢🥹😎

There are so many myths about audience in digital. Let’s say «30+ y.o. woman who is average+ salary and lover of dogs” - that’s what we try to target in our ads. And THAT’S COMPLETELY WRONG for DIGITAL.

It works in product marketing - as you want to create a product for those specific people.

In digital marketing AUDIENCE is those people how behave online in specific way: surfing specific websites, engage with specific content. And the aim of digital marketing and paid ads in general is to search for those people who has interacted with the content that LOOKS LIKE OURS. That’s it - as simple as that 🤓

Paid Ads - how to deal with paid advertising across Instagram/Facebook? 🤓
Who is this beast?

Facebook created the best ads cabinet for everyone (even if you don’t know anything about advertising - it’s really easy to set up your first campaigns). BUT how to manage your campaigns? How to analyse them? We gonna uncover one by one main metrics for you!

Today its CTR (click-through-rate). CTR is a balance between your creative and the audience that sees your banner. Reference number is > 1% which means that among 100 people who saw your ad, 1 person clicked on it and went further. If it’s < 1% - change your creative and start again. That’s how creative works - it doesn’t sell, its just a detail in the lead generation process 🥹

Many businesses are hopeful of bloggers. Doing a single integration they are expecting sales boost 💸

Working with Social Media can be tough as this area is full of myths. Let’s try to figure it out 👇
1. Doing Social Media will get you leads and orders. WRONG. SMM is all about your presence online. It helps you increase your brand awareness. If you want leads you need to work with Paid Ads.
2. You can get huge organic growth. WRONG. Organic growth is usually pretty poor. Unless you try hard with Reels - really nice instrument which can help raise reach and engagement. Rather than that try other instruments such as paid Ads + integrations with bloggers, for example.
3. It’s easy to become popular through social media. WRONG. Viral content demands lots of time to experiment. Nowadays its usually 24/7 job to deal with Social media if you want to become popular. You’ll have to try hard. 🥹

Sounds fun, huh 🤔? So what does all these mean?

- Microsoft is building a program to let brands advertise in Xbox games.

- It is evaluating adtech partners to provide the technology for in-game ad placement.

- Sources expect this ability to go live by the third quarter.

Microsoft wants to let advertisers place ads inside free-to-play Xbox games, and it is currently identifying adtech companies who can create the in-game inventory and work with ad agencies to place the ads, said two people who are involved in the talks.

This new program will boost Xbox’s limited ad inventory by adding more games that brands can advertise in and by allowing more developers to sell ad space.

Insider’s sources expect this capability to be live by the third quarter, although Microsoft did not confirm these plans. A spokesperson said,”We are always looking for ways to improve the experience for players and developers but we don’t have anything further to share.”

While ads in mobile games are common, ads in console games are rare.

Are you interested in becoming a part of this new add’s era? We certainly plan to try it 👌🏻.

How often do we hear the following phrase: “This is our / not our target audience”?

We bet a couple of times a week if you work with clients in agency. And often not only they, but also marketing professionals do not fully understand what a target audience is.

What is behind this beautiful and already hit definition? It seems like a portrait in profile and full face of our customers.

But can this average person leave the portrait and be present in real life?

#1 TA from the user's point of view
In this case, this is a product concept. By creating a product, you already focus on who it is for, and build distribution channels based on this.

If you are selling the cheapest zinc nails by weight, you are using those distribution channels where the markup will be minimal: department stores, regional networks of non-brand stores, etc. Here is a place for minimal costs for marketing, management and all modern channels.

#2 target audience in terms of advertising

At this point we are not dealing with a client portrait at all, but with purely technical data: MAC addresses of devices, IP addresses of routers, IDs of users in social networks who perform certain actions, go to the site more often, etc.

#3 TA in terms of social networks

In this case, actions take place in reverse: you are not looking for your audience, but the social network itself, as a product, offers you a previously formed audience. You are left with two paths:

- create a product exclusively for a specific platform, satisfying the inclusive demand in this social network;

- transform your original product to fit the audience of an already formed social network.

What it turns out: when we say “This is not our target audience”, the statement is true from the position of presence in social networks, but it is not true in relation to advertising.

At the same time, coming to a social network without being prepared, in the hope that “one day the world will bend under you”, along with the hope that “from the whole mass we will somehow find our audience”, is also wrong and pointless.

THE MAGIC BUTTON IS IN OUR HANDS! Rubric question-answer.

Question from subscribers and clients: "There is a belief that advertising can save you from all troubles. Sales, subscribers, recognition, reach, the plague and all that. Is there a magic button in advertising?"

Our answer is : "No. Advertising is an element of your business chain. We call it a commodity distribution chain, which is formed from the moment of contact with your potential buyer, until the moment the product or service is sold. Advertising cannot be considered separately from the entire business process. This is an element. Therefore, if sales do not happen, it is necessary to look for reasons in the entire chain, in each of its elements. But more on that later"

What's new, social media pals?

Here is our latest digest for all of you ☺️

▪️ TikTok is testing the promotion of selected videos.

You can try it in the settings under the "promote" button and set goals as in FB: the following growth, views or website clicks.

◾️ Russian super star - Morgenstern made it to the top again with an advertising clip for "WarThunder ".

Pull up in the tank, and I'm on my way to battle, as they say. If you haven’t seen it yet, time to check it out!

◾️ Another Russian ⭐️ - singer Monetochka got a solid placement: the singer appeared on the Times Square skyscraper as part of the Spotify "Women at Full Volume" initiative. Go girls!

▪️ Yandex Direct has launched a super-lightweight ad service - Campaign Wizard, where any user can figure it out even with an extremely lowkey level. Way to go Yandex!

◾️ Well...looks like the latest IOS 14.5 made all advertisers go nuts!

Big thanks to the new era of tracking data according to the users’ acceptance.

Apple can make sure that a unique user number is not shared with one company from another until the user gives permission.

Therefore, specialists will not be able to track how many new users came from their ad & exactly from where.

But don't panic, will see how it goes!

05/05/2021

Let's talk about big money in big sports ⚽️

Sports marketing in Russia is in its infancy.
Our initiatives look especially unconvincing compared to the budgets that are invested in partnerships with athletes in the United States, Europe and Australia.
Even seemingly unexpected countries like Jordan can operate with budgets that cannot be compared with ours.

🏅Foreign athletes set fantastic records not only in the number of points and the height of their jumps:

📍Neymar moved to PSG for 222 million euros (and that was, for a minute, 2017!)

📍LeBron James Joins Los Angeles Lakers For $ 154 Million

📍Roger Federer has amassed a stack of $ 100 million worth of contracts with Uniqlo, Nike, Rolex, Mercedes-Benz, Moet & Chandon and other brands.

🔊 Good level players are attractive to sponsors: brands monitor the achievements and prospects of athletes (both current professional players and juniors). Agency scouts are constantly attending sporting events in search of promising contracts.

What influences the choice🤔:

athletic performance

media coverage (number of followers on Instagram, mentions in the press, etc.)

the principle of "busy-free": if an athlete already has a contract in a similar area, you can either give up or offer a golden mountain higher

When a sports agency signs a player, they are given a financial payment + privileges in the form of full equipment, etc. (like Nike has).

Sports marketers and intermediary agencies receive a percentage of the athlete's deal with the brand (for example, Maria Sharapova brought the sports agency IMG $ 3.5 million out of her 23 million).

🇷🇺 Meanwhile in Russia:

sports sponsorship we have a local, local history.

There are rare projects like the "Alexander Ostrovsky Tennis Academy". They invest in promising players, and the founder of the academy has his own sports agency.

But for now, this is a drop in the ocean.
Time to flip the game!
What do you say, fellow marketers?

MARKETING EVOLVES 🚀

Why is it the era of hybrid marketing?

Social and marketing revolutions usually go together. We all know how much printed media, TV, radio and internet contributed to the global development.

What’s up now? Looks like the “Blade Runner” turned from fiction into reality where everything becomes fit for advertising placement 👾 As Marshall McLuhan said:”All media, from the phonetic alphabet to the computer, are extensions of man that cause deep and lasting changes in him and transform his environment”.

A few years ago everyone jumped into this new world of online sales and social media thing, in deep belief that this is the future of marketing. Now it’s obvious that offline ad placements should be adapted to the digital format.

Advertisers will soon have the opportunity to choose placements both offline & online simultaneously, targeting their audience anywhere at the right time. Meanwhile users will be able to “Like” the ad in elevators, restaurants or concert halls.

The world has become a huge interactive ad placement and it’s a part of the progress.

Key Update of the Week: Instagram allows creating ads with product tags🛒

With Black Friday and Christmas holidays coming soon, Facebook added this new feature to the Ads Manager. Now you can add your product tags directly to paid promotions. Accepted formats are photos, videos or carousels.

Facebook also added new audience tools🧍‍♀️🧍🧍‍♂️With Shopping Engagement Custom Audiences, businesses now have the ability to reach people who’ve already shown interest in their product or brand by doing things like saving a product, viewing a shop or initiating a purchase. And with Shopping Lookalike Audiences, you can grow your customer base by reaching shoppers who have similar interests to your existing customers on Facebook and Instagram”.

We can’t wait to see a new boost in e-commerce after these updates🚀

HOW TO GAMIFY YOUR ACCOUNT?🕹

Here is an example of a successful gamification strategy for your Instagram that can increase your reach, engagement rate, and build a stronger community.

1️⃣Set the mechanics of your activation: motivate the audience to leave more comments, likes and suggest networking directly in the comments. The ultimate prize could be your product or service given away for free to the most active users, or something else that could interest your target followers.

2️⃣Set the timing of your activation and constantly remind of it via Stories or Live Videos.

3️⃣Connect your account to a service that counts the number of interactions per user (these services are easy to google). It will give them points for each action, whether it is a like or a comment. You can also do it manually if your activation is focused on one post and your following-base is not too large, but we recommend checking various Instagram trackers for faster count.

The results can be mind-blowing: your ER essentially goes up and you get to make your audience talk and interact with each other. The only potential downside is the quality of interactions. Some followers will use emojis instead of actually participating in the discussion. Hence in the end, the result will also depend on the quality of the content you post and the match between the prize and your audience. Worth a try, don’t you think?

29/05/2020

Is it vital to maintain your advertising spend during crisis?💸

Our answer is a strong YES. Studies prove that advertisers that kept or grew their ad spend increased sales during tougher times and afterwards. During uncertain times people look for support and entertainment which can be provided by companies and further increase their brand loyalty. Losing their voices due to the lack of ad budget is potentially harmful.

It’s not simply our position because we are doing marketing. Our clients’ businesses prove it. The case of a men’s clothing brand working with us showed a direct correlation between the ad spend and sales. In May each week we increased the budget by cutting off the non-profitable channels and investing more in retargeting the audience and showing ads to look-a-like profiles. Result: more than $12 000 in revenues in 3 weeks despite the pandemic + conversion growth🚀

Not sure how to target the right audience? Fear of wasting money on ads? Email us or send a DM 📩 We’ll run the ads for you and boost your sales 📈
