Petrol-fueled Merdeka weekend 🇲🇾🔥

Started the morning nice and early with Coffee N Cars by , and later rolled into the evening with Tea & Tires by .co . A full day well spent surrounded by good cars and even better people!

Always love how car culture has this way of connecting people, whether it’s locals or friends from across the border — at the end of the day we’re all just bonding over the same passion on four wheels! 🛞

This Merdeka Day, we revisit a memorable drive from KL to Ipoh and Penang with the Lotus Eletre. From breakfast at Lotus KL to Ipoh’s lunch stop, high tea in Penang, dinner at Lucky Hole and nightcaps at Backdoor Bodega, every mile was matched with great company and flavours.

With its spacious comfort, immersive sound, and sharp Lotus handling, the Eletre made the journey truly special. Thank you to for the wonderful hospitality. 🇲🇾✨

Rain couldn’t stop the vibe —The launch of the Leica SOFORT2 Sketch Flex Edition with the brilliant Remus Supremus ( ) brought hand-sketched creativity to life — raw, real, and full of soul! 🎨📸

From the custom artworks, hand-drawn flair livery on the Porsche GT3 RS, handicrafts, coffee and to the energy in the crowd, it was all about celebrating creativity and community-

We linked up with the team behind Carfe — a space we first checked out back when it was still in its early stages!

On this recent visit, things are really coming together, and the energy feels right.

Carfe is all about blending car culture with café culture, and it’s shaping up to be a proper hangout for the community at large.

Also cool to see familiar names like La Marzocco and Leica being part of the space. Solid coffee, beautiful visuals — all in one place.

RWB KL is also based here, bringing even more character and significance to the space. It’s not just about the cars — it’s about the people, the stories, and the culture that surrounds them.

With the launch of Singapore’s first locally made EV sedan, following the successful debut of the IONIQ 5, the IONIQ 6 showcases advancements in production and technical capabilities. It has also received international accolades in 2023 when it first launched globally. What made the entire event better was the delicious food served at at the end of our tour.
