The Škoda Kodiaq often flies under the radar, but it’s a true gem. Built on the robust MQB platform shared with Volkswagen’s premium models, it delivers exceptional build quality, impressive handling for its size, and an interior that’s both fresh and highly ergonomic.
The Horizon team put the Kodiaq through its paces, covering 4000km in just a week. Driving from Singapore to Bangkok in 3 days and back in 2, it tackled rough roads, monsoon rains, and long highway stretches with remarkable ease.

As the saying goes, nothing worth having comes easy. Our mission was to drive from Singapore to Bangkok, but it was the challenges and camaraderie along the way that made the journey truly unforgettable. Being part of the Porsche Singapore family and documenting this incredible adventure was the perfect way to end the year on a high note - and it’s only inspired us to embark on more trips and tell more stories this year.

What an incredible way to end the year! A 2000km drive from Singapore to Bangkok for Das Treffen 09 was an unforgettable adventure. Over 3 days, we braved monsoon rains, dodged floods, and shared stories with the Porsche community. Their passion—for their cars and the bonds they’ve built—was inspiring, showcasing a camaraderie and family spirit that transcends generations. This journey was a true celebration of connection and shared love.

Long distances and wet weather were no challenge for Michelin tyres, delivering reliable performance throughout. It was great to see their strong presence among Porsche owners, both classic and modern, at Das Treffen. It is always a treat to witness such an incredible range of Porsches gathered in Bangkok every year.

Spent a fantastic Friday afternoon at ! Day 1 brought great energy without overwhelming crowds, giving us plenty of time and space to chat with vendors and fully appreciate the impressive lineup of cars and merch. Big thanks to .my for the invite and passes!

The Denza D9 has officially launched in Singapore! Throwing it back to our visit to BYD’s factory in Changsha, China, where we got an exclusive first look at the all-electric 7-seater luxury MPV before its official debut. Over three exciting days, we watched the Denza D9 roll off the production line, took it for a test drive among other BYD vehicles, and toured the Changsha factory.

The Denza D9 offers exceptional value for those who demand sophistication, technology and performance, whether for business or leisure. Inside, the cabin boasts nappa leather seats, retractable tables, an in-built refrigerator, wireless charging ports, and zero-gravity massage seats with touch screen controls. A big congratulations to and .singapore for the successful launch of the Denza D9! We can’t wait to get behind the wheel again soon ⚡️

Right after we held our last Horizon Hangouts, we were swept into all the excitement of the Singapore F1 and Gumball rally.

We’re so thankful for the community’s continuous support and to for the unique location. We’re already planning improvements for the next one!

With the launch of Singapore’s first locally made EV sedan, following the successful debut of the IONIQ 5, the IONIQ 6 showcases advancements in production and technical capabilities. It has also received international accolades in 2023 when it first launched globally. What made the entire event better was the delicious food served at at the end of our tour.
