The late A. Mahadeva was a Singapore journalist who fought passionately for Singapore's independence, driven by Socialist ideals. He was detained without trial by the government for years, becoming a political prisoner. This is his story - told by his brother who painstakingly plowed through his detailed personal notes and documents. A story that reminds us of the sacrifice of many Singaporeans who gave their lives in the pursuit of a just and equal society for all.
